Israeli Government Racist Ads About Americans on American TV Removed.

Just found this story about the Israeli government who had to remove ads from showing on american TV for being racist towards Americans.

But as i know already, Israeli's are very racist and are brought up to be racist, anyway i mainly posted this thread for all you evangelicals at ATS, who blindly support Israel even though they look down on you.

As you see in one of these ads that were removed, Israeli grandparents turn there nose's up at a american kid celebrating Christmas, just one of the many things i find wrong and racist about these ads and the Israeli attitude.

LOL, I remember when these ads first came out!

I had authored a thread on the outrage from the Jews in the US over these ads.

It was the first I've heard of these controversial ads, they must have been removed and covered over pretty fast, as it was a Australian news channel i got the story from.

After seeing these ads, and the message they were sending out it was blatantly offensive towards Americans.

The bare faced cheek to actually air these ads in America is amazing.

Thinking about these ads more, the American government should of let these ads roll out, so all Americans can see what the Israeli's are really about.

Israeli foreign aid may actually stop then, if Americans knew how Israeli's really feel about them.

Well i must apologize this has been posted before that I've just found HERE a year ago and is a very good thread on the subject by Corruption Exposed.

But still it good to keep this in the public mind, as until today I've never seen or heard about these ads and i'm guessing i'm not the only one.

I hope the mods leave this up as the other thread did not get much attention and I believe this information should be shared with our fellow members to show the hipocrisy coming out of the Israeli government when it comes to treatment of Americans.

They should not shun American Jews, especially considering the amount of aid that Israel receives from the American tax payers. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if American tax dollars helped fund those commercials

Can you imagine the uproar there would be if Americans aired ads saying basically don't marry Jews, and then aired it on Israeli TV.

And the bit that got me was when the Israeli government said they wasn't aware of the American sensibility, which is the ultimate in ironic, as if you say anything Ant-Israel and you called anti-semitic.

Anybody else notice that the 'Dad' on one of those ads had a copy of The Economist with a photograph of the twin towers on the cover?

I wonder how long the Art Director and producers labored over making that set dressing decision?

If you can issue that disclaimer with a straight face, given the posts you have made, may I suggest a career in politics?

It's not an Israeli bashing thread? Would you point out where there is any indication that there is an open question you want to discuss? What issue is there on which you feel you are not Israeli bashing? The headline claims racism, even that's not established.

I'd love to join into a discussion, but not into a mugging.

Thank you for the response.

Nowhere in the video of the commercials or the accompanying news report are the words "Race" or "Racist" or "Racial" used. For this to be considered as a racial matter, one must believe that the people of Israel are a different race from all of the other people in the world. That's not a defensible position.

And to the idea that the OP wants a discussion on it, after he says this:

These ads came out last year. Don't see what this has to do about christmas.

Wow..that ad was hilarious. What is the point in airing them!?!?

As to the Ads that were featured in the OP, I dont find anything offensive about them.........im sure that people in other countries wouldnt understand our independence day like we do.........

Or the fact the ties with some people have w America...........and wanting to go back if they are in another country........

This thread IMHO is sensationalism......I do however see that its def brought out the anti-Israeli crowd in large numbers........

I always find the responses to threads like this more telling, then the actual subject matter.........people really expose themselves for who they are

How is this not an Israel bashing thread? Your intro sure sounded like that. By the way, most of the world has negative stereotypes about Americans, not just Israel.

I love Israel, it is a proud nation with a rich culture. It is unique because it is probably the only place on the planet that has the same religion, unchanged, since it's dawn in history. Walking down an Israeli street, you can see billboards that could be read by it's people's ancestors, thousands of years ago.

What does this say about me?

I'm not sure about that, considering there are Muslims who have been born and raised in Israel. That makes them Israeli. I would argue that these Muslims would tell you that they in fact are not Jews.
