Ex Ghost Hunter Brian Harnois possibly missing

To all, I have heard about Brian and my hope is he will be found safe. I was able to talk with him for a while about a month or so back and he seemed in a good place at that time. I hope he finds that good place again.

Then there was some twitter oddness last night with someone claiming they knew where he was and that he was fine. Then that person backtracked and issued an apology saying they had misread info & someone else had lied to them.

Does anyone know how long he has been out of contact and unreachable?

i remember him from the early shows & yes he did go missing before , but i figured it was part of the" REALITY SCRIPT "
so i didnt pay any attention to the whole drama ,as with any good play you need a protagonist & antagonist
i figured that was his role to play .
to bad if hes gonna whack himself , hope he is found alive

According to his wiki, which I posted on the previous page and is the last post they said no one has heard from him since he made that post on FB yesterday morning December 9th, Michelle Harnois reported him missing or suicidal and the police showed up and left her house at 8:49 p.m. on the same day and are still searching.

It goes on to say that a tweet dated Dec. 6, indicated that Michelle had not seen Brian Harnois for 6 days, So I guess he was "kind of" missing before the FB post.

From my understanding. The "Goodbye" message was posted sometime in the morning of Dec 9.

So it's been less than 24 hours. Since he posted.

I do not know the last person who spoke with him was.

However, his wife says she hasn't spoken or heard from him for over a week to ten days now.

Hearing the same on twitter with the added note he is headed to a mental facility ...

Was a cry for help and now he will hopefully get the help he needs.

Thank goodness, I always had a soft spot in my heart for him, was sad when he left the show.

I wonder how healthy this ghost hunting is on someones mental state.

I always thought he had a gift, the gifted seem to always be troubled souls.

haha, you may be right there ...

I started out rather harshly in this thread about him, from the show he just always kind of rubbed me wrong and I didn't keep track with him after the show.

but ...

After following this story I realized he is rather well liked and loved by many and has been doing positive things after the show. I wish him the best and hope the finds the help he needs ... Divorce is hard to deal with especially when children are involved but I believe he will get past it and be better from it.

I hope this is true, he really does need to go and get some kind of professional help though, putting your children through something like that is not going to do your relationship with them any good or, the poor kids themselves are going to suffer from the results of his illness, not fair on either them or him.

Here's hoping he takes counseling seriously and realizes that he has alot of support from his fans.

Glad to hear he was found, hopefully he gets better, I'd hate to see anything happen to him as I was always a fan on the older GH episodes.

Thank you Lord! I watched "It's a Wonderful Life" last night and I couldn't help but think about him and that movie.

I pray he gets whatever help his wounded soul needs.

He made the right decision. I pray he goes forward making good decisions. Blessings in his recovery!

I call bull**** on this story. For someone to have a show and make money doing so cannot possibly be homeless and barely scraping by!

I bet after doing all of these ghost hunting shows he fell in love with a ghost and now has a fetish of experiencing paranormal intimate encounters with them and doesn't want anyone else to know!

You do realize that Brian hasn't been on TV for YEARS now, right?

You do realize that Brian isn't 'homeless' but is married and has children and works, right? And yes, it is very possible for someone to have a job and be 'scraping by' these days ... especially with a wife and two kids and not much education or work experience. (he was in the Air Force and stationed at Minott AFB in N.D. but other than that, you can't put 'ghost hunter' down on a work application .. ya know??)

Brian was a 'cast member' on the show for a few seasons when it first started. He wasn't one of the big stars nor was he the producer. Other cast members who have left said that they had to live with their parents and they couldn't pay their own bills because the show didn't pay enough.
