Science is not looking for God; those who believe in God are trying to manipulate science in favor of their particular God. There's a big difference. All that science aims to achieve is an understanding of how things work in our Universe, and in what ways they may be utilized for our benefit.

We are not "ideas," or "creations" from some creator. We are animals, evolved species with self-awareness. We are flesh and blood, bone and skin. Ideas, thoughts, they're all emanations of our consciousness. If you're seeking a god, look to yourself. You'll find the imprint of god, and the blueprint for your future, within.

None of it is knowable. But you are 100% correct in the 'interpretation of myself' when it comes to creating gods; this is what humans do. When we assign human characteristics to animals it's called being anthropomorphic. I don't know what it's called when we do the same for make-believe friends.

You are not an idea. What you 'believe' yourself to be is an idea. The 'person' you 'think' you are is an idea.

Any 'thing' that can be known is not you. So every thing is not you. No idea is you, no thought is you, no feeling is you.
You are the knower of what can be known.

You are no thing knowing appearing things.

The appearing (apparent) form does not stay the same, it is always different, it is moving.
What sees and knows the constantly changing form does not move or change, it is the stable one. Realize it and it shall set you free.
All seeing, all knowing and everpresent.

And, what does knowing oneself have to do with science "finding the truth about God"?

We are because we are and we are because we aren't.

There is nothing to look for because we are already everything and nothing.

Just let go and BE.

There are no answers. The knower is unknown but is the only thing real. The answers you are looking for are just creations. The means of finding them are to seek them, but you do not need to look for what is real. Nothing is real that can be known.
