So many (ALL) hidden secrets to the universe are locked in the Bible. If we would just read and seek the understanding, we could thrive. Take this
short chapter of the Bible as an example. The topic here is Technology from Knowledge.
1 Corinthians 8
Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that “We all possess knowledge.” But knowledge puffs up while love builds up. 2 Those who think they
know something do not yet know as they ought to know. 3 But whoever loves God is known by God.
First, the topic is knowledge and the Bible always uses food as a metaphor for knowledge. An idol is a graven image that is produced from the fruit
of knowledge. In Genesis 3, part of the punishment on mankind for 'taking' the fruit of knowledge was that we would toil for our food. Possessing
knowledge puffs up pride, while love builds up. Why is this? This is because giving produces and taking causes debt. As a result of our own
expression of fruit from knowledge (Technology), we are killing our own planet.
4 So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that “There is no God but one.” 5
For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), 6 yet for us there is
but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and
through whom we live.
A sacrifice is the surrendering of a possession. The passage is speaking of consuming the knowledge surrendered to the thing produced. In other
words, it is speaking of what we take in as knowledge that is produced by the incorrect fruit. As well, we are also surrendering our planet to those
who care little for mankind. Greed blinds.
In the first paragraph, it was noted that taking puffs up, but giving builds up. Love is the will to give and receive, but taking is the will of the
thief. Taking causes debt, as seen by our national debt. Why do we have a national debt? We are consuming the wrong polarity of knowledge from the
products we produce. These products are the graven images we make into our idols. We seek peace and safety from our consumer goods, all the while
not realizing that God would provide all of our needs. Consider this verse:
Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
7 But not everyone possesses this knowledge. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as
having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled. 8 But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do
not eat, and no better if we do.
What knowledge is he speaking of that many do not possess? You need to return to the last verse from the previous passage. It directly relates to
this verse:
1 Colossians 1: 15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven
and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He
is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
And also this verse set:
John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were
made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the
darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.
In Genesis, we are told that we are INSIDE and image and also THE image of God. An image is a representation only of something else. What is that
something else? WORD! Go back to verse 4 of 1 Corinthians:
----We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that “There is no God but one.”
When you look in a mirror, you see an image of you. You know the image is not you. An acorn has the 75 foot oak tree enfolded into it. Is the oak
tree the image that came from the Acorn or the WORD that made it come to be? As the verse states, nothing in this image is real. We are forming our
technology from the image rather than seeing the image as the mechanism to lead us back to what is real. It is a knowledge that puffs up but lacks
love. Love is the primary WORD we must learn. The knowledge of technology is simply an idol we produce that takes us away from the real goal of
discovering God.
How does he conclude?
8 But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.
Knowledge does not bring us close to God (Being a God). Seeking the knowledge of the fruit God created is not the point. It only puffs us up. Love
is the point and love can only give. God would have given us the knowledge. As a matter of fact, we have never gained any knowledge that was not
first given by God. No matter the course we took in the garden, God is the one giving what we gain. We toil for our food, just as Genesis states.
We could have simply let God give it to us as a gift.
9 Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak. 10 For if someone with a weak conscience sees
you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols? 11 So this weak
brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge. 12 When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you
sin against Christ. 13 Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause
them to fall.
Of course, those who find love then produce good from their knowledge. We participate in the world freely, valuing what we have and how it is used.
This freedom comes from finding the fulfillment of law. Law is for the thief. When we fulfill the law, there are no restrictions. This freedom
contradicts those who have not yet found this freedom. The thieves will still suffer the law and the debt they create.
Compare to this verse:
Hebrews 5
11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. 12 In fact, though by this time you
ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who
lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant
use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.
What is the main point of all of this? What lesson do we gain from this as Children being raised in a garden? The entire Bible is centered around
trying to teach us to use the fruit to give rather than take. As it turns out, we still make the same choice as we did in the garden. We surrender
our knowledge to our idols and fail to preserve the garden in the process. We are fools. Meat is out of the question at this point because we have
spent 6000 years sacrificing it to idols. We have nearly killed the Earth in the process.
Genesis 3
2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is
in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’
“Cursed is the ground because of you;
through painful toil you will eat food from it
all the days of your life.
18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,
and you will eat the plants of the field.
19 By the sweat of your brow
you will eat your food
until you return to the ground,
since from it you were taken;
for dust you are
and to dust you will return.”
Until we figure it out, the tree of Life is blocked by the Flaming Sword. We will continue to toil to rise, only to then fall again by our own
arrogance.
Deny this Ignorance already.
Our sin is the Crown of Thorns we make Christ wear.
Is the fruit of knowledge related to this verse set:
Revelation 13
18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.[e-or of mankind] That
number is 666.
Carbon has 6 protons, 6 electrons and 6 neutrons. It is the foundation for our technology and the mark of all life. The beast us all of us. The
temple we surrender the beast to God from is our body. Fire burns the beast. Water cleanses the temple and puts out the fire. Water is baptism and
our immersion into this world. We are here for one reason. TO REPENT! Of what? Our Pride against God.
Baptism is the wool over the sheep's eyes while it is sheered off. It is then washed white as snow in the water and returned as a new robe (Body) and
crown (Mind). Look past the wool and see the point.
