It's obvious no one even read the article. This only applies to FRANCE and FRENCH men. Not men in Europe, or America, or the West, or worldwide. France, that's it.
You know, I thought about this, but I think on average, the French live a healthier lifestyle than Americans. More walking, more wine, better food. I could be generalizing, but last time I was in Europe, the lifestyle appeared healthier. I started thinking about how bad the American lifestyle is, and how we may be even worse.
Although, I am not sure I would trust a fertility clinic study, bit of a bias there.

If we were talking about health and you wanted to give us your unscientific musings, that could be an interesting debate.
We aren't talking health, it's very specific. Sperm count. Add on top the participants and I agree there could be some bias. Regardless, this is targeted at French men only, and it's clear no one read the article except maybe me and you.
And you think your state of health has nothing to do with sperm count? There are a lot of things that have to do with a healthy sperm count. My husband and I went to a fertility doctor to figure out why I could not have a second child a few years back. My husband had slow swimmers and I actually learned a lot about sperm count from a specialist. Not sure why you had to be snarky, but I think having an opinion and discussing it is why a place like ATS exists.
