I love the Grinch stealing stars too, it's so funny! I started practicing a few things today but kept having to stop - kid thought I was a jungle gym today. Having to learn way slower than I'm used to.

I like this thread. Some definite creativity.

It sucks that we can't use animated backgrounds for this contest so, I figured a way to get around that silly rule. A way to get around the rules by using the rules, if you will. Just like I figured a way to get around the puny upload size to keep posting cool animated gifs in the funny pics thread.

First, you start with a generic, Christmasy background for your background.


Then, you put an animated gif inside a transparent background and use that for your avatar.
































Put 'em together and you got an animated looking background.



You can use them with any smiley type gif, not just the cat stuff I found.
