I don't post often but this seams a little out of place.since when or why would the DHS be interested in some fossils.I could see Customs getting involved if they were imported but DHS raiding a home over dinosaur bones

The skull was seized by customs officials with a warrant issued by Wyoming's federal district court.

DHS is involved because Tarbosaurus fossils are not found in North America.

Probably a little to do with this...

U.S. Customs - more than 45,600 sworn federal agents and officers.
DHS - more than 200,000 employees. Source, Google Search

Probably just utilization of available manpower? Perhaps a sign we're winning the war on terror in the U.S.

Same thing.

CBP is one of the Department of Homeland Security’s largest and most complex components, with a priority mission of keeping terrorists and their weapons out of the U.S. It also has a responsibility for securing the border and facilitating lawful international trade and travel while enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws and regulations, including immigration and drug laws.

Unless he was gathering radioactive material from the K-T Boundary?
Maybe he is a terrorist and trying to build a dirty bomb?

Perhaps, or perhaps it's a sign that fossilized Dino's are raising an army against an unprepared US. When a skeletal T-Rex is ripping your face off with his new prosthetic arms, don't say I didn't warn you.

All of us must be vigilant in the war on fossils, none can afford to let our guards down. No one is safe.... No one.

Actually this "fossil is the remains of a stranded reptillian space tramp who was abandoned on earth way back then because af a certain disability which caused his fellow space slavers to cast him out......
he was stricken with the most abominable gas when he ate space pizza......
Its all part of the cover up...i know Dr Greer briefed me/////

That is one of the funniest posts I've read in awhile.

Perhaps they were the skeletal remains of ancient Reptilian aliens!
