Monster Sinkholes

Not much attention given to this subject...I think we are mistaken not to be aware of the implications from this happening. With the advent of certain man-made inventions, this could even be induced to create a "False Flag" misdirection...right? The ramifications of consequences are mind-boggling should anything happen on this fault.

endoftheamericandream.com...

The most powerful earthquakes in the history of the United States happened along the New Madrid Fault in 1811 and 1812. Those earthquakes were reportedly felt more than 1,000 miles away. Scientists assure us that one day we will once again see very powerful earthquakes along the New Madrid fault. It is only a question of when it will happen. Today, the New Madrid fault zone covers portions of Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. However, a major earthquake of magnitude-8.0 or greater would likely have a dramatic effect all the way from the Great Lakes all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico.

This would actually be worse than California in terms of devastation, many of these cities were not built with earthquake retrofitted buildings. There are over 14 nuclear power plants on either side of the Mississippi...so many people, animals and ecology would be affected.

Nothing I can do about it. If it happens, then it happens. If I die because of it, then I die because of it.

I wasn't aware that sinkholes ever indicated earthquakes...

But like above poster, what the hell can you do about it anyway?

Where does it say anything about sinkholes?

The title of the thread sure does.

And this:

The article suggested that the sink holes in certain areas could be a precursor to earthquakes happening on the New Madrid fault.

My guess would be that these could be a result of increased fracking operations. However I am certainly no expert

That certainly is a possibility, fracking could be the cause for the sink holes. They can play a part in making that fault or any fault unstable.
