I was reading this in another thread. Tomorrow, there are 18 days until Dec. 21st. This is 18*24*60 makes 25920 minutes until December 21st, 2012. As I did some research, I found this.

Scared number 33.333333333 x 25,920 = 864,000 which equals the Diameter of the Sun in miles.

RADIUS OF THE MOON
25,920 divided by 24 = 1080 miles which is the radius of the Moon.

I can't wrap my head around the stupidity of that part. Of course there's that much time between those two days and times, because they are legitimately 18 days from each other. It's stating the exact same statement/fact twice, and trying to make a coincidence seem somehow more awe inspiring.

It seems more and more that the math adds up with so many different things.

The math is precise.... the math is all the scientific evidence I need to believe that 2012 has significance.

I think they are pointing out the alignment of three planets with the Pyramids at Giza in relation to 18, which is 6+6+6, or Vav, Vav, Vav, or the symbols on the Monster Energy Drink (Unleash the Beast). Of course, I add more here to this.

Right...your interpretation is just that. An interpretation of that reading, and mine is the interpretation of the same reading. Personally I feel there's a stretch with this coincidence and the whole December 21st Doomsday thing.

Well that Mayan calendar should be an Egyptian calendar and pyramid, but I guess the masons in DC don't want to be too obvious about it.

Here's the other way to determine which calendar they're using.
Square 72. 72 x 72 = 5184 which is the length of the Egyptian calendar. Now 5184 x 5 = 25920 gives you the number of years in an Egyptian calculation of Earth's precession. Good but not as good as the Mayan's.

The Mayan's took into account of the Earth's elliptical orbit which throws off the count. The Mayan calendar is 5125 years long multiply that by 5 and you get 25625. So the square root of 5125 is 71.589 which is pretty close to NASA's calculation of 71.6.

So when you see 72, its Egyptian, not Mayan.
