Why would a country who is "fighting for its existance" inflame the situation even more by building settlements on land thats not theirs? it doesnt make sense.

Yes as some say on here there are to sides to this problem, you have the Israeli side that plays within world rules, or you have the other side that breaks all world rules, most of earth people prefer the good, the bad are going to get sorted out maybe, but it's true there is always two sides, often people refuse to understand that part in lots of things today.
