I scored as a Centrist.....Centrists espouse a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.

Okay, Lady V, I saw this test. Thanks.
And got an 88. Some of the abolish things I'm just not ready for. But, on some days, I could probably get 130, esp if this #$%^&$ election goes on much longer.
*sigh*

51-90 points: You are a medium-core libertarian, probably self-consciously so. Your friends probably encourage you to quit talking about your views so much.

Hmmm, they've changed the questions since I took it a few months ago...
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 90%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 90%.
That's 90% libertarian

59 for myself. Nice test, but I'm actually a little astonished my score was not a little higher. It was a good test, but as others have said...it seemed a little redundant at times.

I scored a 62...................and I thought I was a pretty hard core Libratarian.......I guess I am not...oh well we learn as we live

91-130 points: You have entered the heady realm of hard-core libertarianism. Now doesn't that make you feel worse that you didn't get a perfect score?

A lot of the anarchist stuff, besides private police etc wouldn't work out too well. Suppose there was no government, and how would you keep it that way? Some militia would take over I am sure.

Did I win?

"If there was no government, wouldn't there be chaos
Everybody running round, setting petrol bombs off?
And if there was no police force, tell me what you'd do
If thirty thousand rioters came running after you?
And who would clean the sewers? Who'd mend my television?
Wouldn't people lay about without some supervision?
Who'd drive the fire engines? Who'd fix my video?
If there were no prisons, well, where would robbers go?
And what if I told you to # Off?

What if there's no army to stop a big invasion?
Who'd clean the bogs and sweep the floors?
We'd have all immigration.
Who'd pull the pint at the local pub?
Where'd I get my fags?
Who'd empty out my dustbins?
Would I still get plastic bags?
If there were no hospitals,
and no doctors too,
If I'd broken both my legs,
where would I run to?
If there's no medication,
if there were no nurses,
Wouldn't people die a lot?
And who would drive the hearses?
And what if I told you to Fxxk Off?

If there were no butchers shops,
what would people eat?
You'd have everybody starving if they didn't get their meat.
If there was no water,
what would people drink?
Who'd flush away the you-know-what?
But of course MINE never stink.
What about the children?
Who'd teach them in the schools?
Who'd make the beggers keep in line?
Learn them all the rules?
Who's tell us whitewash windows?
When to take down doors?
Tell us make a flask of tea and survive the holocaust?"

Your score is...

155

Wow, real surprise there

The only way to fix it is to flush it all away - TOOL

I scored a 131, but at the same time, I don't think many of the questions were fair question, or necessarily had to do with libertarian philosophy.

Proud to say I got 148.

I was actually a bit surprised at the score.
Perhaps I am batting on the wrong team.

At least I know it's concrete that civil liberties and basic freedom
is priority one.

I got an 82, but I am fine with that because I am not a hard-core anything (aside from humanitarian).

I scored a 39 : Your libertarian credentials are obvious. Doubtlessly you will become more extreme as time goes on. That test was very odd though, alot of oddly worded questions and very broad ones too.

I got a 39 as well and I must say- I hav never seen the Libertarian party but in such abrutal light as I did in this quiz. I took another "political quiz" and it was much more interesting- placing you in a political party (not the worlds shortest political quiz thing). the highest possible score is a 700, but with the importance i ranked each issue as, the highest score for me personally was a 490. i recieved my lowest rating (298) in the republican party, next was 301 in democratic, then it bumped up to 388 in lertarian, and lo an behold, a whopping 430 in the green party.

63 on the first test.

Almost dyed in the wool Libertarian in the smallest quiz.

And a 425 on the Green party, beating out the 300's of the other three on the last test.

[Edited on 10/22/2004 by Flinx]

Not really it just amounts to every neighborhood hireing a Security Guard. Wouldnt it be nice to have a cop you could FIRE. No more being treated like an axe murderer when you are pulled over

We already do this where I live. I dont understand what the issue is?

BTW, I scored a 45. Amuk, we might need to talk
