The problem with the bilderberger meetings are that they take place in secrecy, and given all the austerity bs happening the last 5 years, people have every right to be supicious and pissed off. Free trade, private central banks, masonry are behind the conspiracy.

And liberals are almost as bad conservatives.

So is the gaza strip Palestine and israel...israel? i don't get it.

No, it is just blockaded by Israel in every way. Not at all belonging to them, and in fact Gaza is but a small piece of what used to be the home of the native Arabs.

But, in order to visit Gaza, you must get Israeli papers due to the blockade.

Don't arabs have enough land? Like 95% of the entire middle east?

Palestine was only a territory, much like judea was before palestine.

Arabs are indeed very greedy. Don't get me wrong, I hate the influence jews have in the world economy and I even question the outcome of the holocaust, but arabs are still greedy when it comes to land occupation. I can see why israel over-reacts sometimes.

If the palestinians had any brains they would only make a claim for jerusalem and leave the jews alone in regard to greater israel. Jerusalem should be an independant nation imo. It would solve everything. Then give palestinians israeli citizenship for those that want it and everyone else can go # themselves.

People who claim israel is stealing palestinian land are nuts. PALESTINE NEVER OFFICIALLY EXISTED AS A NATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me tear a few quick holes in your argument...

Saying that all Arabs are cookie cut copies,...is a major flaw right off the bat. See, like in almost every other religion, there are factions. Sometimes in relation to territory, sometimes in relation to doctrine.

If you were say...a mormon, who lived in Arizona. Would it make sense to kick out all your kind from Arizona, just because your "people" had so much land close by (Utah)???

No.

And if Palestine has no right to declare itself a state, then neither does Israel, which was invented by the British if you dont remember. Just because some violent tribe entered into an area and killed every living thing in sight, does not give them the everlasting rights to that land. Especially when it was their own God that kicked them out, as set forth in their very own religious texts ( which also contain their fair share of pedophillia).

And even if you are desperate enough to cite the ancient KINGDOMS of Judea and Samaria....modern "israel" is not governed by a ruling family and so has no claim to ancestral ownership of the land. The British Monarchy on the other hand, as an example, DOES have a legal ancestral claim to the United Kingdom.
This is why the British Monarchy is only a democracy in disguise, the Queen allows a PM to form a Gvmnt on HER islands, and throughout HER commonwealth.

So, Israel cannot possibly use that lame excuse to lay claim to a land in which they were a MINORITY, until ethnic cleansing created the artificial majority that they enjoy today.

And just to top the cake, and to help you understand that attempting to debate me as Israels proxy is not a good idea:

THE ZIONISTS COLLABORATED WITH HITLER!!

Fact. Here, let me prove it quick...........

Early in 1935, a passenger ship bound for Haifa in Palestine left the German port of Bremerhaven. Its stern bore the Hebrew letter for its name, "Tel Aviv", while a swastika banner fluttered from the mast. And although the ship was Zionist owned, its captain was a National Socialist Party (Nazi) member. Many years later a traveler aboard the ship recalled this symbolic combination as a "metaphysical absurdity". Absurd or not, this is but one vignette from a little-known chapter of history: The wide ranging collaboration between Zionism and Hitler's Third Reich.

In early January 1941 a small but important Zionist organization submitted a formal proposal to German diplomats in Beirut for a military-political alliance with wartime Germany. The offer was made by the radical underground "Fighters for the Freedom of Israel", better known as the Lehi or Stern Gang. Its leader, Avraham Stern, had recently broken with the radical nationalist "National Military Organization" (Irgun Zvai Leumi - Etzel) over the group's attitude toward Britain, which had effectively banned further Jewish settlement of Palestine. Stern regarded Britain as the main enemy of Zionism.

Complete original text published in: David Yisraeli, The Palestinian Problem in German Politics 1889-1945 (Israel: 1947) pp. 315-317).

Believe me, if you support Israel....now is a good time to swing aboard the other ship comrade. =)

Now, I knew of a man named Adolf Hitler, who if I remember riight, said damn near the same thing you said there in your last sentence.

Not that I disagree...but isnt it odd that Hitler would say these things, quite publicly, and then go on to attack the JEWS??

I wonder what would happen if all the Jewish controlled corporations, businesses, and banks suddenly declared a massive boycott of the American economy?????

I wonder what would happen to the poor Jews stuck in America, in places like Texas....or some other bible belt state......

before they had no recognition, no protection what so ever.

i can't believe canada disgraced itself like that. like the good little lap dog that it is it followed its master.

a country known throughout it's history as a neutral peaceloving state, standing for what is right, sometimes alone but always strong and brave.

when i think of canada, i think of a country where you could come as equals and get a fair shot.

not any more, that scum of a prime minister is all about bilderberg meetings and turning canada into america.

i think he's extremely racist and bigoted. deport harper to america, he'll fit right in.

here he is walking in times square like he owns the place. look at that stupid grin. he's lost in fantasy land.

he'll give all the oil in alberta for dinner at the whitehouse. even americans don't want to be americans anymore because of where their country is headed.

and here is this tool, believing what he sees in movies. he's worse than kim jong il in his delusions.
be thankful you don't have this guy running for president.

he loves america more than he loves his own country. he's a traitor to canada as far as i'm concerned and its no shock he was born in toronto. imagine a bitter george w. bush, who blames the world for his problems.

edit on 29-11-2012 by randomname because: (no reason given)

I hear that! How could Canada of all nations try to restrict rights to an native people? I mean, Canada has its own rough history regarding natives, and you would think that the Israel lobby would have less of an influence....but no..

Its gross.

well worth celebrating.... good to see palestine finally get official recognition at long last ... sadly the people will still suffer and have hard.. short lives.... this also means the day will come when israel is tried for its crimes against humanity....

I wish that were true....but sadly..only cases referred by the Security Council can be forwarded to the ICC, and guess what permanent member will block any and all attempts at prosecution......

Sad....

But hey, Israel will risk alienating themselves from the international community even further if they continue to harass what is now a nation with the same international standing as the Vatican.

I mean, look at how many nations voted in support of them....its outstanding.

Israel is on the ropes, hopefully they will banish Likud, and create the peaceful, beautiful Israel that always should have been...Jews building Mosques, Muslims maintaining ancient Jewish holy sites....

It would be more than amazing.

There's a few threads on this.

Here is a photo of the breakdown:

You know, it isn't the ones that voted against this which surprise me. America is a given and Obama wouldn't have a choice even if he DID care to. That's reality whether some care to accept it or not. There are agreements and treaties which are signed and official (and as we've established in recent UN debate threads about treaties, it carries the force of law when properly passed) with Israel at many levels from military to health care to education exchange of high school students.

I think the ones highlighted in yellow are cowards though and I don't mind saying so. This is an issue that has been simmering for literal decades. There is no nation outside maybe Togo and Tonga which shouldn't have an established position based on principles and values one direction or the other by now. It's beyond belief and simply politics at it's worst to play Frogger on this and dance in traffic between sides.

No one has to agree with each others position but it's not asking too much that National Governments at least HAVE one, independent of political nonsense by this point in time.

Non-member state..... is that something like puppet state?

This is not a real victory. They've sold their souls to the NWO now, officially. Leaving them as non-member must give some sort of extra power or not having to adhere to member guidelines. This is awfully suspicious.

Been keeping an eye on this & will continue to do so.

I wish i could give your reply more than one star.Anyway, this is hopefully a change at a cease to the hostilities.A chance,an oppurtunity.Lets see what both sides make of this oppurtunity to provide a less brutal, traumatising environment and way of life for their themselves and more importantly, their children, their descendants.Im not naive enough to think that this is the pill to cure the disease of Israeli-Palestine conflict, but now Palestine is at least officially recognised as an beleaguered and gravely injured patient. This is a very positive step, and although i would like to rejoice,im cautious enough(seeing Israel is the opposing force along with its lapdog America) to just hope that this is indeed the start of the road to stability and a modicum of peace in this region.

Don't know if this map has been posted yet... even if it has, it deserves a repost.

So I guess the moral heights of the US and Canada only goes as far as some small island states in the pacific, Panama and of course the terrorist state of Israel.
While the rest of the world is pretty unanimous about this being the right thing to do...

Look at the map, and look at what perspective it puts the US and Canada in... shame on you! (and by this I mean the governments not the people, although you should have revolted a long time ago against your fascist corporatist oppressors)

Extremist jews (Zionists) don't seem to care about that... they own the general label of being greedy and selfish. Atleast this move serves as a small statement that enough is enough... they can only drag us around for so long before we have had enough.

I honestly am not surprised if someone like Hitler would rise again the way the Zionists are propelling the world towards their own silly prophecy. Let's just remember next time that they shouldn't be given a stretch of land to call their own, they should just be assimilated into the countries of the world and suffer what ever hate they themselves have taken part in creating.

Wow.......how does one recognize something as a "state" that doesn't exist on any map? Ther eis no Palestine. There are people trying to run out the Israelis, and take their land, that want to be called a country, when they aren't one.

no Palestine here...

Ding ding... history lesson needed please!

How the f*** do you think you can base that statement off a current map?

You have to go back and see how it all started... how the area looked back in the 40s when the British were in control. The land consisted of a mix of arabs and jews, but then the jewish european society spearheaded by Zionists and their insane prophecies and fairytales from their so-called religious scriptures persuaded the British to give them the land. Back then the UN was exploited to make this move, so it's only right that the UN tries to put the affair right.

The Israelis have no more right to this area than anyone else. Learn to f'ing co-exist. Something greedy selfish racist jews could do with a big lesson in!

Yet every day, Palestinians attack Israel, and state that they want the destruction of that nation, and the death of every Jewish person. Flowery political statements don't erase the reality of all the hate towards the nation of Israel. Plus, there is still no nation of Palestine. Not on old maps, either.

well remember they let libya into the UN and look what happened to them when they start to speak the truth about the world !

Ghaddafi may have been branded mad , but his UN speeches were always worth a listen .

Isnt it a bit hypocritical of the US to vote no as they supposedly dont deal with terrorists but have yet been found to do just that in Libya !

to top that # the UN
