What was next to the Moon Lastnight?

I live very close to you! Perfect, that's what i saw, thanks! Jupiter it is. I stared at it a bit hoping it was a alien mother ship or something, but i knew deep down inside it was just some of the universes awesomeness.

Thanks for the responses, we almost had a non-ats conversation here, but i knew the naribu jokes would come by Hehe. Might be one of the best sights i've seen in the sky ever.

The moon was really clear last night here in Aberdeen. It was giving off a really bright glow which was about four times the size of the moon on with the outer edge of the glow it had an amazing red hue.
As other posters have said,Jupiter was right next to the moon.
