I regret that I have but one star to give to this thread.
[And, what the heck is TEDx?! (Doesn't appear to be affiliated with TED (Sapling Foundation), or *is* it?)]edit on 11/28/2012 by SquirrelNutz because: (no reason given)

"Covered up?'
You do realize that those are old newspaper clippings, right?
So, they covered it up by telling newspaper reporters about it?
Harte
Newspaper clippings from a very long time ago, tucked away in a place where practically no one will(has) ever see(n) them.
And, evidence that historical / archaeological exhibits that have clearly been altered, hidden or destroyed.
Yeah, covered up.
I've never heard of this material before. Not many others have either (a mere 40,000 views - 2 of which are mine!). There are 8 Billion people on this planet. Let's assume, graciously, that he has enlightened the same number publicly thru his seminars and articles. That's .001%, or 1/1000th of 1% of the earth's population.
Yeah. Covered up!
Considering the groundbreaking implications - this is our planet's true history, yet it's not taught in schools as such.

Considering the lack of evidence certain subjects don't get most attention - because of the lack of evidence, you find something and believe me the scientists will pile on - example the finding the HF and the Denisovians was followed by an explosion of work and study to find earlier Hominin
It'll be interesting to see how much attention this gets www.msnbc.msn.com...
It in a thread here on ATS already - one will have to wait for the paper and the quality of the evidence - and for confirmation of it. If so it will be kewl!!

the people who sign their paychecks, come on don't be so naive
Nah published several times. When I was more interested in the fringe in the 70's I got the books on this subject by Corliss - they are still available and have his research on all the reported giants
Ancient man; A handbook of puzzling artifacts, ISBN 0-915554-03-8
Strange Artifacts: A source book on ancient man, ISBN 0-9600712-6-1
I found these originally in the public library and later got my copies
So they did a terrible job of 'covering up', lol
Its not a 'true history' unless you can produce a bod
Just how old are you? 'Giants' is one of the more common fringe theories - we even have a sticky in this forum because it comes up constantly
[Twice now I've quoted (here at ATS somewhere) from and linked to an old newspaper story from that same era that tells us that a turnip was locally grown and so large that they hollowed it out and used it for an academy for boys.
Unfortunately, the Smithsonian also "covered up" that story, as well as the one (also from the very same era) about watermelons so large that they planted the seeds near an old home that needed to be moved and the resulting melons lifted the house off the ground, facilitating the effort. Again, covered up by those rotten PTB!

Let me be clear about what I meant by "hearing of this material" before - I'm familiar somewhat with Giant being stories, and even comparisons to the Nephilim, I just never gave it much thought. By 'this material' I specifically mean: 1) this professionally put together of a presentation, 2) done recently, 3) by a respectible entity (TED, even if 'x'), and 4) by a expert in the field of masonry.
I applaud and even envy you, that you have been privy to this knowledge. Again.. maybe it is readily available, but people should not have to be searching for it. It should be taught. It should be on display. It is our history. So, yes, to a certain degree should be considered a 'cover up'. Nevermind the tainted submissions to the Smithsonian.
I beleive they did. And, it dissappeared, no? (again, the Smithsonian)
Can't say that expert maneuverability around a Conspiracy site should be given the utmost credibility for this material, would you agree?

So, you're suggesting that an abnormally large turnip and entire race of giant beings are of the same, paramount importance?! Okay, buddy.

I think I'll wait until the report comes out and is confirmed before making plans.....
