So when I first started reading, I felt this was gonna be the same ole ####. I was pulled in by the story so I read on. Parts of me wanted to throw out some psychiatric terms, but told myself I would just keep it to myself. Around the end of the story a few things kinds took be back to a video I believe I saw on this site. It was a neuroscientist talking about a stroke she had, and was caught between terrified and doing live research. Don't get me wrong, I don't believe for a second this was a stroke, but there were things she was talking about in regards to switching back and forth between left and right brain and what strange things happen.perhaps you have some strange ability (particularly while meditating) its just another equally amazing possibility. See if you can find the video, she was on TED.

Thank you for reading with an open mind. I actually have watched that video, I was also interested about her "brother" who suffered from schizophrenia, but was unable to find anything.

I compare my situation (kinda) to hers. Like I was "watching" the psychosis unfold etc.

Thanks again for stopping in.

I am currently going back to school to get a degree in psychology/counseling or perhaps just a BA in human services, Not sure yet.

It fascinates me that you had a diagnosis of schitzophrenia followed by one of epilepsy (was it temporal lobe epilepsy by any chance?) I am an open-minded skeptic who believes in the possibility of gnosis, meaning, one can have experiences for which there may be no external proof to show others, but which is absolutely real to the experiencer. So I am open to the possibility that this is what you have had.

The reason I ask about temporal lobe epilepsy and have a fascination with it, is that it is one of the few truly explanatory possibilities that could account for at least some contact experiences. I can't go into too much detail for personal privacy reasons, but I once delved into an account of contact and experiences that hit all of the familiar hallmarks of the abduction phenomenon, yet this person had no exposure to it as a popular meme. In fact, their experiences began back in the 1950s, and extended well into the 60s, long before the "alien abduction phenomenon" was called that and widely publicized. That's what made it so interesting.

This person, who I know quite well, also initially was evaluated as having schitzophrenia, but that label was also revoked after further analysis and assessment. (Like you, antipsychotics made her worse, as well, which... incidentally... can happen regardless of diagnosis.) They then said she might have dissociative identity disorder. Finally however, they realized through ECG that she had a form of epilepsy, and a more thorough history taken revealed that as a child she would have fits and "staring spells." It turned out she had temporal lobe epilepsy, which is capable of producing extremely complex and vivid hallucinations, often without impairment of other cognitive functions. Anti-epileptics of various forms had no effect on her. What finally stopped her episodes was actually experimentation with illicit entheogens in the early 1980s. (Note that I am not advocating this, and it would violate ATS' terms and conditions.)

I think that this is a neglected area of contact research that really needs to be taken into consideration more thoroughly any time we seek to find mundane explanations for such experiences. However, that does not mean that I don't believe you actually experienced contact, or that others do. I certainly believe in the possibility of such experiences being real, and in the possibility that they may reside in a realm from which we can extract no solid proof.

Thank-you for sharing your experience with all of us. Peace.

SyntheticPerception- Welcome to what sterioligist would call the "woohoo" crowd

Its normal to question your sanity when you encounter situations like this for the first time. Just keep in mind that most people will not believe it until they experience themselves, and very few people do. So reassure yourself that it happened and you are not going crazy.

I can give you a detailed explanation for what happened to you on that night, but will only do so if you are genuinely interested. So if you are PM me

(was it temporal lobe epilepsy by any chance?)

I am honestly not 100% sure.. because I was a charity care patient (no insurance) I would have had to pay money to see my records. After I had seen my therapist for awhile, he suggested the new evaluation by a colleague of his. He felt this would "help" me move past problems I had with the "schizophrenic" diagnoses.

After the evaluation, she said ~ paraphrasing here I do not remember the exact words ~

"It sounds like epilepsy, I could give you medicine that may help"

I told her it has been a very spiritual experience for me and even though it was dark at times I have grown immensely from the experience.

I have still not seen my official record because I refused to pay to see what psychiatry had labeled me with. I finally just gave up finding out what she decided to mark down for me. Our conversation made it apparent she was leaning towards epilepsy and I knew my therapist had spoke with her about changing my previous diagnoses.

I have been reading some of your threads, We have had many similar experiences in the few I have had a chance to read.

This sounded much like an event your describe, you also appear to be a lucid dreamer the majority of the time. I often say "lucid" just to mean I am "aware" of dreaming, not controlling the dream-scape. I have had "control" before but honestly it got pretty boring pretty quick.

I would imagine that is one of the reasons I am here. To share in a collective dream~scape not in my control.

Anyway.. Does this sound familiar to you?

I wake up at 1:00PM, get up, have a glass of OJ, check my email, etc. Think "I am still tired"

I then decide it's Saturday, I don't have anything to do, I am going back to bed.

Fall asleep into a dream and then... wake back up at 11:30AM the same day

I swear I know for certain it was one in the afternoon first time I woke.

Do you often wake up laying the opposite way you were laying when you fell asleep? Just curious.

You know, this is why God tells us not to mess with spirits. We're commanded to (if we're ever in contact with one) to "test the spirit" always, check to see if it is of God. This 'spirit' you're in communication with has sold the you best lie they have - that it's an extra terrestrial, which just so happens to be their fave' method of deception.

I wouldn't continue this meditation you speak of, you could be storing up massive amounts of trouble. It IS possible to have more than one spirit in your temple, every time you meditate without God or Yeshua you're opening yourself up to be deceived and 'taken'. I too have felt the 'electricity' of the contact, I hated it every time. I felt nothing but fear and anger afterwards and never left on a positive note, the last straw was 3 hours of 'mirror meditation' I did once, I kept my eyes in focus to avoid drift eye and watched as my face changed into that of a shiny snake like demeanour it looked like I had tiny pieces of diamond all over my face, shining brilliant colours off of them. Imagine my surprise when I read Satan was a Nakesh, a shining serpent adorned with precious stones.

You couldn't make this stuff up could you...... When it happens your worldview is totally blown apart, many lose their minds...

I'd highly recommend you stop what you're doing and seek forgiveness and maybe see about an exorcism. This may sound 'crazy' but wait till' you see what that 'spirit' does when it's called out....

I wouldn't continue this meditation you speak of

I wouldn't continue blindly following the judgmental dogma you speak of.

The programing since birth is strong.

This experience happened two years ago. I am in a much better place mentally, spiritually, physically, etc than I was prior to the experience.

I understand your concern for me and I appreciate that. However, I am just as concerned for you.

You speak of knowing what "God" wants for you by reading "Gods" word that was put together by man. I highly recommend you begin using your heart instead of labels your mind has created.

If not that could really make a person mentally unstable too..

Perhaps you should look for God in your heart, not a book.

I shared a very intimate encounter with my creator before this event. My creator doesn't ask to be worshiped, and doesn't require me to be forgiven. Perhaps your creator does though?

I hope he has forgiven you and has let you know personally, not just by speaking to you through a book.

Imagine my surprise when I read Satan was a Nakesh

Imagine my surprise when I read in the book of Job ~ God holds a board meeting with the Arch Angels ~ Satan being one of them ~ God and Satan have a civil discussion together and God decides to use Satan to tests Jobs righteousness.

Does this "Satan" work for your creator?

I'd highly recommend you stop what you're doing and seek forgiveness and maybe see about an exorcism.

I'd highly recommend you stop what you're doing and seek forgiveness and maybe see about an exorcism.

If you want I could introduce you to my creator. "He" is more loving than the one your mind has attached to since your most recent incarnation.

I think ET's can actuate the paranormal as their dimensional fields are similar if not the same.
Possession isn't all its cracked up to be but simply a test of wills.
While in an ET field I was possessed a few times by so called demons with the archetype Satan or the ET that plays Satan being the most competent at it. However, it was only capable of a short lived possession and it's so called demons were almost laughable.
The paralyizing technique while in bed was especially weak.

BTW, mirrors and the paranormal do have something in common.

The old school Biblical methods are seen as somewhat humorus among the more progressive ET's.
And yes, there certainly are more progressive ones.

I'm thinking the 'paralyzation technique' is a result of a higher vibration being sucking all of the energies from the body it is inhabiting in order to feed its own existence.

Hmmm...now that you're on the subject...would you mind elaborating on this creator? Could you tell me how you met it, what transpired, and your impressions upon meeting it? Reading your post, your experiences ring true in relation to what a creator would be, and I'm intensely interested to know what you've found regarding the nature of such a being.

Actually, the covers or blanket is critical to the trick as it's intended to have a locking effect.
Again, simply use your own will power.

No one can suck anything out of you.

However if you win the contest of will powers you can have them perform for you i.e. a nice calf massage for example.

Understood. Yeah, having to pay to get access to medical records is very annoying and in my opinion unethical. I have had that experience as well, as someone who doesn't have a lot of money. I understand that they technically own the media the information is stored upon, but I feel that the patient should own the information itself, and at least be allowed to see it - if not secure a copy - free of charge.

I can tell you a little bit about this other person's epilepsy experience without revealing any of their personal details, and with their permission. Maybe you can find some parallels.

As a small girl in the 50s she once met a girl she had never seen before in her school yard. The girl led her off of school grounds. No one seemed to notice her leave. She followed the girl for several blocks, until suddenly the girl was inexplicably gone, and she found herself walking home, as though school had let out for the day. She realized by the position of the sun, however, that it was far too early for school to be over. She hurried back to school. Again, no one seemed to notice that she had been gone. She described everyone to be in "slow motion," as if they were "switched off." (This piqued my interest because of the parallel to abduction phenomenology.) Once she sat back down in her seat, they "sped back up" and returned to normal. No one ever mentioned her absence.

She had many experiences like that one. Another time she fell into a "trance" when a school nurse touched her on a certain part of her body. Yet another time, she found herself running away from something in fear, at night, and unaware of why. The next thing she remembered was waking up in a field some distance from where she had been. (Again with the abduction parallels.)

I would never argue definitively that all of her experiences were the direct result of her temporal lobe epilepsy alone. I can't technically prove a negative, so I remain open to other, more exotic explanations. But since I'm not aware of any concerted effort to investigate any potential correlation between epilepsy and spiritual or abduction experiences (even John Mack, who may have been the most qualified of abduction and contact and visionary researchers in a clinical setting never did so to my knowledge - perhaps someone can correct me if I'm wrong,) it would be very interesting to me for someone, somewhere, to investigate whether this might be a viable explanation for these sorts of common experiences that so many disparate people appear to share.

That possibility does not preclude the possibility of genuinely spiritual, or even physical, contact scenarios in my opinion though.

Peace.

I would recommend rising above it. By being loving and looking at the guy in the mirror and resolving to change any flaws or faults from apathy to anger, all of it.

My rule of thumb is this, I never seek those kind of experiences, and I close all permissions, work on self and pray/meditate. Because true Family of Love and Goodness, God, Angels and Family, including Angel-Ets or Good Cosmic Family, can always get through.

Something in the bloodstream? So does this ET require your magnetic blood to jump start its entity type body, to rejuvenate it? Something that needs blood?

This happened two years ago, since that time all the above has been accomplished. Before this encounter I had a terrible self image. I now realize what I wonderful loving person I am.

I didn't seek out this encounter purposefully. It may have happened because of a "choice" I made, but part of me feels I made an agreement for this contact before incarnation.

That was not the message at all, it wasn't that it was "feeding" of my blood. Just that part of it was in my blood. The rational mind in me believes this was possibly a subconscious type "memory" so to speak.

I have experienced a couple situations similar to this, however nobody went "missing". With mine though things around me "sped up" but did not slow down.

This wold take more time than I have at the moment. Thankfully it happened before things got "darker", remembering the event gave me the strength and will power to continue. Just thinking about it gives me that awesome feeling of energy shooting down my spinal cord.

I am not even sure how I cold put it into words really. I do not think words would do "it" justice.
