Charles 1952 posted in a thread of mine that sadly the dumber the thread, the bigger it would become, so I am posting 2 threads, this one on a deeper subject, and a stupid one to see how accurate his theory is.
We'll let you know the outcome

This thread asks the question, do you believe that the PTB are, or are going to be using our food sources to control and cause infighting among us to maintain control and destroy the strength of the middle class or do you believe that the fact that the world is running out of food is due to climate change and bureaucratic mismanagement?

Its not a fact, its a big fat fiction!
Food is controled, just look around you at all the land that is NOT being used to grow food!!!

Yep, food, along with the rfid chip will be their weapon.

No, not food. Starvation will cause violent backlashes against authority figures. Once people become hungry they start questioning those in charge and puts everything they do under a microscope. The whole idea at this point is total unquestionable control.Debt is the current control mechanism being used, as it's easily accessed and makes the lower classes obligated to the higher ones. It also allows the higher classes to place blame on the lower ones for their own plight, rather than the mob placing blame on the rich for lack of food. Also debt is easily manufactured. Debt takes no effort to produce. It's nothing more than numbers placed into a computer. It's really a beautiful thing to see unfold. How everyone buys into a system that makes them obligated.Just my opinion of course.Realizing that there is a conscious effort to control is half the battle. Once we get to that point it's figuring out what means are being used to control.

Really, the world isn't all that short on food. It could be with severe climate change, but not yet. America throws away enough food to feed a small country. Also, we eat way more than we need to.

But yeah, providing food during a time of crisis is a good way for anyone with global takeover ambitions to not only control the public, but create a population gracious that consents their government. I think a takeover would be designed to be supported by the public as much as possible.

I actually wrote, but did not post, a thread about this today. I am delaying because I need to put together some more statistical information, but here's the bottom line: it can't be used as a weapon. Food price spikes cause revolutions.

An IMF report puts that for every 10% increase in food prices there is a 100% increase in anti-government sentiment.

Using 2008 as a baseline and the food prices, my numbers show that as much as 41% of the US would be in favor of dissolution of the US. I didn't post because it seemed absurdly high, so I'm holding off until I can put together a more coherent analysis.

So you know who controls the food? look what's happening to those who used to grow it.
We are losing 330 family farms a day.

To an extent yes. psychologically yes. Swaying public opinion on matters yes.My position still remains. The primary control measure is debt. If you want to control someone you make them obligated to you. Television doesn't create much obligation. What television does do well is make everyone desire things and lifestyles they can't outright afford. You want that new car in that commercial? You may not be able to outright buy it, but you can surely take out a loan to get it. All these reality shows of these rich people glorifying a lifestyle 95% of the population can't afford. These commercials promoting $500 cell phones nobody in their right mind should desire.Debt is a never ending cycle the lower classes can never get from under. Not able to afford the basic necessities needed to function in the current social environment (transportation, housing, communication) people take out loans on their future labor to acquire these things. When the interest rates don't allow the loans to be paid off efficiently, and people even more strapped for money take out even more loans on their future labor. Another example is of course credit cards.Debt is truly a predatory practice that I think in another 100-200 years will be frowned upon. I think future generations will look back at this time as a time of social underdevelopment, the same way we look at kings and queens as opposed to democratic governance today.

Sadly, I must agree. One of the sure signs of poverty, is a 60 inch t.v. among an average house. It sits there like a symbol that everything is okay, I'm not really poor, I have t.v.
Its like seeing a brand new sports car inf front of a trailer.

You're doing it wrong.

What you need to do is get ten random pictures of the sky and space and then apply photoshop filters to them. As many as you can! If you run out, download more and apply those, too. Then draw arrows pointing to bits of the image with labels for things. Here are some good ones:

* Nibiru is here
* This isn't a galaxy, it is angels and demons fighting
* As you can see, this isn't compression but is in fact a hidden moon base
* I have calculated the size of this small object to be 20, 000 miles long. It is a battle ship. Through my photoshop filters you can see the rooms on the ship. This is the toilet.
* Banana phone

That aside ... despite your opinion on the two threads and the simplicity of the other question ... I could easily write 50, 000 words on television as a propaganda tool and how the public percieve it. Is actually a pretty in depth topic ...

Food and water are the easiest way to control people now. It used to be religion, and before that salt.

Because cats aren't a threat to riot and drag the perceived leaders out of their respective capital buildings and beat them to death. Go ahead and starve the bottom 60% in the U.S. when they aren't used to those conditions, and see what happens. That crap might fly in some third world countries, but in developed western society that will get you killed. The leaders of this world are a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them.
