I follow, but assault rifles are still sidearms compared to what the military can throw at people. Rifles will do nothing.

if you think its impossible now, maybe 20 years from now when things are even worse.

governments can do no wrong, therefore you shouldnt question them.

The government is doing whatever it wants anyway. They know it's stupid to take guns away, and unnecessary. Revolution avoided, business as usual. They already won, there won't be a revolution, and the government still gets to go on doing whatever it wants.

I never said any of that. I'm just being realistic. Having guns isn't stopping the government from doing anything, and they don't need to take them away. So I don't see anything going on here except propaganda and fear mongering by people that want to make money selling stuff.

Guns are fine, but they're not really doing anything magical to keep our government away. I guess that's my entire point.

I love people who try to force ideology on other people. Whatever happened to the love of freedom? It's been replaced with the love of doctrine and oppression of others. If you dislike firearms so much, I suggest you merely do not buy them. Think of it as a boycott.

Who are any of you to tell others what is right and what is wrong, and dictate to them a standard for behavior, even thought? Why do you love conformity and submission so much?

I'm guessing a lot of you who are this way are staunchly opposed to religion. Yet you subscribe to a very perverted one yourselves. Yours is not at all a worship of peace, unity and love. It is a cult of social and cultural warfare, divisiveness, hate and tyranny.

HAH! Good luck with that one. If that list is truly legitimate, he's going to have one hell of a hard sell there. I can't even imagine how many SKS's, AR-15's and AK-47s are in circulation in this country alone right now. Hell a friend of mine has 6 SKS's and a few AKs. And we only go target shooting with them.

I would LOVE to see this try and push through as real legislation. The protests over it would dwarf anything seen before.

Your statements have no merit. The 2nd Amend is to protect us from a tyrannical government. You need to know about rights given to us by the constitution . You are using cases of psychotic episodes to make a case to disarm all Americans. If a person wants to harm another person they will find a way to do it , by getting rid of gun does not get rid of crazy. I own guns and have nothing in common with these psycos. When all the guns are gone what will insure your freedoms?

In every instance in your list if there was an armed civilian there the shooter would have possibly killed less people. Did the police help? No cause they get there tooo late. A government cannot protect you true protection only comes from each individual.

Well.. yes that is exactly what the second amdendment is in place for. In case of a need for revolution or defending the country. So it is absolutely to be able to kill lots of people all at once. Did you think the 2nd amendment was to protect hunters rights? You are one of those people that has been spoiled into being way too comfortable, too many distractions coming your way.

Just so those who are in doubt will better understand.
There will never be any gun convescation in The US because there are just too many.

One -- there are too many guns to ever get them all picked up.
Two -- there are just too many of us to ever get away with trying to take away our guns.
Three -- it would take a lot larger armed force than the government could raise for it to be successful.

There would be a terrible fight break out when the first pickups took place anywhere in the US.

Actually I think this list is very conservative compared to what the real list will look like. One that is missing from that list, and it is one of the big reasons that I think this list is a hoax is the 50 cal. It is well known that for some time they have tossed around the idea of an outright ban on 50 cal rifles for civilian use, so why is it missing from that list?

One of the things that grates my nerves is that Admin is so serious about curtailing/neutering the 2nd Amendment.

If they were really that serious about other issues, such as energy and the grid, Infrastructure, hmmmm, maybe the deficit and budget. Then things might be better.

But of course, the 2d Amendment is tied to the first. Once either of those two amendments get kicked to the curb, the rest will fall like a house of cards.
