For those who saw the season finale of "The Event", I think this could possibly be the most believable theory of HOW Nibiru may just appear (since it is not visible)...Instantly and out of the blue.

I know this may sound far fetched, but there are so many things about the universe and the (possible) technology of other civilizations on other planets. Here is a link to the video (it is the final 2 minutes of the show) I'm not sure how to embed it so here it is (If someone knows how to make it viewable on here any help would be appreciated)

So what do you guys think?

I just realized this was posted in a "learning the ropes" section of the site. I'm not so great on navigating through the site so if any MODS would help relocate this it would be greatly appreciated

I agree if Nibiru was to be heading our way next month then this I think is the only way that it could happen.

The thing is I don’t believe in the Nibiru stuff or that the world is going to end next month. By the very virtue that I have yet to see any evidence of Nibiru close to our small planet or even any object that could hit earth. As such if this where to happen I do think it would only happen like it did in “the Event”.

Good job that was only a very bad Sci-Fi show and has no basis in reality, don’t worry we will all be celebrating new year next year

It's not a "believable theory." There's not even a theory at all presented in the clip. It's a science fiction television show. The Nibiru theories are almost entirely Myth or fantasy.

well, I couldn´t watch the clip you posted a link to. it said in the mediaplayer in the link something along the line like "This clip isn´t availble in your location"

Anyways. I do think it is intersting to see all the big companies take on this whole "Nibiru" or Planet X stuff, and that it is a well shown subject in mainstream media, even though it is not refeerd to as Nibiru or planet X.

Will come back later to see if there is a working link to where I live (Sweden) ..oooor I could also try and look for it myself..hmm, okey, I will take a look on the big internet and see if I can find a working link/clip

So long / Robert

I agree. I'm not much of a believer in the whole Nibiru thing (or the world ending for that matter) but I just recently saw the finale of the show and thought "Hey, I don't think I've seen anyone one ATS bring this possibility up" so I wanted to get some opinions. --- they could have done so many cool things with that show, it just fizzled out. Cool concept though

To be fair not all the Nibiru/PX theories specify 2012 but the majority seemed to have glommed onto it. Once December passes there's going to be a lot less interest in this until the next doomsday gets firmly established.

I was basically saying "a theory" of the planet coming through a wormhole or something similar as depicted in the clip. As I said, I'm not much of a believer in the whole Nibiru thing but I thought this was interesting....Who cares if it's from a sci-fi TV show, I was just throwing it in the "realm of possibilities" since I've never seen this "theory" (or whatever you would prefer to call it) mentioned

Acctully, this thread was created today on this very same topic, and with a theory that is similar to the one you have about a wormhole. Now, I said THEORY, I know that. OK. I could have said myth, or fairytale, but I didn´t I´m aware of that, and thats it.

What is a nibiru and why should I care about it?

Sounds like some kind of fabrication from some whack job looking to make a buck. And anyone who backs it is looking to jump on the money bandwagon.

The so-called "History" channel and other outlets owned by big companies have been pounding on the 2012/planet X business for a while now and referring to it by name.

As far as science fiction goes the stories don't originate with big business, it's writers and producers who are constantly looking for ideas and who are surfing the same internet you and I are.

I see the thread you're talking about and there isn't a mention of a wormhole in the OP, nor did it mention the tv show I'm referring too. I AGREE with you about it most likely being a myth, fairytale, etc.... I was asking what people thought. Your opinion is noted. Thanks.
No need to throw bah humbug all over it. This is for fun

Yes, and I do think it is interesting.

I didn´t even think about the history channel and NG and those channels, but you are right, they have been pounding this subject now for a while.

Oh, ok, Well silly me thought it did

I read it in the morning (the thread I linked to) So maybe the cooffe hadn´t kicked in yet and I was reading stuff that wasn´t there.

Ok, I do find it interesting, this whole Nibiru stuff. But just for fun and to have something to mangle my mind with sometimes. I don´t believe in it. But it is a fun little thought.

If Nibiru comes, I don't think it will happen all that 'Softly'. Meaning, there are magnetics of both Planets that will be repelling/Attracting each other, I would think. That alone would cause Major Chaos between the two Worlds......
Top of Earth soaring to even 7 or 8 degrees sideways, and maybe back would Be Catastropic! Major Flooding, Very High winds, EarthQuakes, Etc...... Good Post. Syx.

Yeah, the slight shaking in the video is funny. If something like this did happen I think the effect would be a little more than just setting off car alarms

Maybe it's near... What with all those strange noises being heard around the world recently. What's odd about that is the fact that these noises have never been heard before.

Perhaps it is the interior of the earth, straining aganst the gravatational pull of another planet. Invisible and soon to be revealed. Perhaps it's in another dimension, just about to pop through...

Nibiru lovers make me want to crawl into a hole, curl up in the fetal position, and sob uncontrollably until it all just goes away.

Seriously.

If you (this isn't aimed at the OP, I'm talking generally) think Nibiru is real, stop watching YouTube videos about it and read the work by Zecharia Sitchin. It's the most unashamedly rubbish piece of scholarship, it really is. Not a single reputable scholar around the world takes it seriously, and the "evidence" provided by a few people on YouTube with cameras, whose fundamental misunderstanding or ignorance of how cameras actually function leads them to believe in the existence of another planet in our solar system (as opposed to the logical conclusion, "hey, my lens refracts light!") is just painful.

Ugh.

I couldn't agree more. How can so many people believe in something that was created in a science fiction novel? (ex # 2 - Scientology)

Maybe they can control the journey of this planet and even travel through wormholes and instantaneously move from one point of the universe to another.
