I recommend the volume low. Just some music for the read
Reality is looking very strange to me at the moment. Having the equinox of 2012 baring down upon us, at the same time we eek closer to World War
Three. Feels like it's tomorrow's headlines. I wonder how it will read. WW3 in 2012 or maybe somnething like 2012 SPAWNS WW3. Maybe the
press will just ignore the connection and hope no one else notices ? Seems more likely. I wonder if the Atomic clock has moved ? Threads are beginning
to pile up in the WW3 forum, that's for sure.
I can only agree with many folks here on ATS, that we who live in country's that aren't peppered by bombs every week, are pretty damn lucky to live
where we live. We have generations in the U.S. who don't even understand the threat of war. But it does loom and surely the violence of war has
touched us.
But we don't even no for sure who touched us do we ?
So should we really even be thankful, that we are spared the worries of war, landing on our houses everyday ? Isn't it really just dumb luck where we
are born geographically ? Who should we thank ? When I see the images of little children, caught in the middle of these conflicts, that only amount
to hate? Like the one jumping off in the Mid-east right now, even as we speak? It quite literally shreds my soul to even think about, let alone look
at images, of what war does to OUR little kids, OUR little babies. I'm talking flood gates like saloon doors in a deluge, every time bursting forth
in common fashion. And I only say ours because I believe, the whole world should care about the innocent, not just their parents. Every time I see an
image or a clip of kids caught up in conflict. I not only want to scream in horror, I want to strap on the battle gear and go on a mission. God grant
me an invincible and immortal body so this will be no more !
And I can't believe I have to ask this question, but am I like the exception and not the rule? What the hell is wrong with humanity ? And how can any
human being of a secular nature, even entertain the thought for one second, that mankind is the sharpest knife in the drawer ? We don't even bother to
get our kids out of the way of war, but some think intelligence is maxed out in us ! At that I must deny ignorance and claim the ultimate stupidity.
Proud and haughty to be human ? Not ! And how could anyone even think to be so ? I am truly ashamed.
I'm posting this video because I'm aiming this thread directly at your heart. While I think everyone needs to see this, I warn you. I absolutely
balled my eyes out and felt excruciating pain. It would be modest for me to say, I wanted to put my head thru a wall.
If you aren't strong just please skip it. A synopsis would be that it shows the horror of America's attacks on the mid east in regard to school kids
and even toddlers. I'm one of the toughest people I know but I hear it all the time.
How I just fall apart when it comes to kids.
Who would do such a thing ? What kind of monsters are ruining our world ? ? I truly can not seem to fathom
this.
Anyway if we truly had leaders in this world, instead of rulers. Children would be immune to collateral damage.
If children are present, there is a 25 mile per hour speed limit around their schools and there should be limits to war as well when it comes to our
kids.
There should be some almighty force that comes thru first and sweeps children up out of harms way. Is that us America ? Is that what America should be
ATS ? What about the UN ? Get the children out of the way then have at it you bastards.
Is mankind capable of this ? It's my message that we are and if we fail at this one moral indicator any longer ? Then the children should be the only
ones among us, to find safety in the mighty arms of a loving Heavenly Father.
And the rest of us be damned.
So is that what America should be at any cost ?

Those that follow world conflicts regarding currencies, economies, warfare and politics, are missing the point of how things will end up and what will
finally decide the outcome. The slate will be wiped clean with so called natural disasters, over the next four years. For those paying attention to
the escalating markers, it is clear that we are in for a correction of unimaginable proportion. Some will survive but not most. It is not who is right
that will decide the outcome, it is who is left.
If that vid made you cry, that was enough for me, randivious. I couldn't watch it. I have, however, in the past made myself view the images of what
War does to the children. I do believe it's important to do that at some point.
There is obviously a battle of cosmic proportions going on and, unfortunately, it's out of our hands at this point. I do believe that we will all be
in a position one day to choose--or not--to really love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
The U.S. is not immune from the struggles much of the rest of the world faces...we'll have our trial by fire, too.
Was thinking of putting together a thread just like this. I've been paralyzed all weekend with a deep depression over precisely what you are talking
about here. It breaks my heart that children ANYWHERE are being killed because adults can't seem to get their #&*! together. All it does is just sow
the seeds for the next generation of hatred and extremism.
It seems like it will never end. I have this overwhelming feeling lately that I just want to go home. I don't even know where home is, I just know
it's not here, living in this world the way it is today.
I have my own opinions on the crisis in the middle east, but regardless of those opinions, I KNOW that any child dying due to war is inexcusable, and
the blood of those children is on the hands of Hamas and Israel alike.
It made me feel like I was passing a baseball Gut. If you've put yourself thru it before, then no need to do it again.
And people wonder why Christians can't wait to see this world end. I wonder about those that don't. Thanks for posting brother.
Definitely peace.

I personally have no issues if grown adults want to kill each other I really don't but leave the children out of it. This goes for everybody on all
sides of any conflict whether they use drones, rifles or IEDs etc etc etc. Children are not pawns or tools. They are supposed to be humanities
future....

OP i agree, the people on this planet are so friken lost. They put priorities to their egos, pride and religions instead of living as a human being,
living in peace as it was given to us in the first place. We put money ahead of our familes and friends, we put bullets into our neighbors because the
holy temple down the road said so. Massive drug trades, innocents dying there too.
The world is beyond repair, its too damaged. But 2012 is here and things will be fine. Humans worth isnt one of servitude.
Funny how threads of the most powerful nature that strike close to the heart and personal seem to be avoided.
I think we humans collective have to look at the things that hurt. Otherwise it's out of sight out of mind.
Yes it is strange times. I'm here in Norway. Still rich and oblivious about what is going around the world. It's disgusting. The news; day and night
go on like droids and people sitting in their sofa getting dumber and dumber. People here want to be abused by the system. They even look down upon
the rest f the world. Norway head state of capitalism, hiding behind a mask called socialism. Let's hope for the better in the world! And go to the
streets if you can.

Exactly. Ignorance is bliss , but it must be denied. The people of the countries in power don't want to know what their rulers are doing anyore
and it saddens me to see how little give a #@%$ people really have. They dont wanna know how many children were injured while the gov't dropped a
biliion dollars worth of bombs in one day. They just want to know that the single terrorist in that region that they're going after is dead. They
don't give crap how this type of thing is affecting the kids, how its setting the mindset for those children that this is how things get done. The
gov'r is looking to kill terrorism but what thy don't seem to understand is they are just breeding more!!! The children who are subgect to this
inlfeunce are going to grow up vengful over what they have seen, and only try and lash back at what has caused them to lose their parents brothers and
sisters. This is the cycle of abuse, and somewhere it has to stop.
P.s that video made me cry. I can't stand seeing children involved in someone elses conflict. Or anyone who didn't want to be involved in the
situation, it's not just children who are stuck in this where they don't want to be.
Thanks for posting you guys. I appreciate the bump from all y'all, bleeding heart and trauma drama, it is what it is and needs to be reckoned with for
starters..

watching 'the world at war' on the history channel, i switched to the news to see the latest from gaza, and it struck me that humanity seems doomed
to an endless loop of warfare and destruction. we were doing it in ancient times, we did it in more recent times, we're doing it again now, and like
as not we're not done with warfare yet, not until events render us incapable of anything but bare survival. the outlook is bleak, to say the
least.
The key to breaking that cycle is awareness. If we can see the trends that we fall into we can start to see why, and take steps to change that.
Awareness and desire are very powerful when used together.
Bluemoonsine ladies and gentlemen with an amazing post that I recognize could 've made a thread from. But chose to post here instead and I thank you
immeasurably.
