I would guess that the stated shelf life of ding dongs should instead be stated in "half-life", as I expect that they will remain mostly intact for a very long time.

being from the UK I have never tasted a twinky and have always wanted to try one
But now...sniff sniff I will feel like this guy.

I only ever tried a Twinkie once, and i was not impressed. I though it was tasteless crap. Processed, just saying. On the other hand i never tried a "Ding Dong", the sound of it is off putting.
