I found this an interesting development australian citizens showing solidarity with the israeli armys actions in Gaza.


Iam neutral in this issue and only side with fairness.

The people who attend this pro Invasion rally are encouraged to wear red.

These rally goers are Aussie citizens or permanent residents ...if you want to distinguish them because of the colour of their skin thats your issue not mine.

Funny thing in Australia, someone announces a march like this and often an oppositional march has more people than the first one. Would not surprise me one bit. If I lived in Canberra I would be there.

OP, I give a big nod to your courage in bringing this headline at the moment. It's akin to the NRA setting up hunter registration booths at a PETA rally. Err.. Yeah... Almost exactly like that.

I find it absolutely incredible though how viciously it's pointed out exactly what the nationality, loyalty and make up of the protesters are for the Israeli support rally....but not a word is said either way about the membership composition of the Anti-Israel protests in the same vein and over the same event. No need to even say double standard as that example literally defines it.

I suppose not all the world sees Israel's reaction to over 9 THOUSAND rockets fired into it's residential neighborhoods since leaving Gaza in an attempt to find peace....as totally out of line. Overkill? I dunno personally. I suppose we'll see better what was overkill after the world knows what has actually been done. Until then, good for Australia in allowing a healthy show of both sides, as posts here indicate they're doing, and allowing their citizens to express themselves on either side of a very deadly issue elsewhere.
