New to ATS

Good morning from Oregon. My friends call me Stussy and I have been meaning to sign up for quite some time now. I see the posts on my Facebook page and frequently want to respond to things but of course I couldn't. I have many interests and enjoy most topics and I'm always interested in a good conspiracy. I look forward to being a member and hope to contribute something to the discussions in the forums. Thanks

The flags mean that members feel your post is worth attention. You can't flag your own threads, but other members can. You'll be able to flag other people's threads if you find them deserving of it (it's kind of like a "heads up, cool thread!"). You can retract a flag you've given for a period of time if you change your mind about it.

Stars (not pertinent to intro threads) are when someone agrees with your post in a thread. They are not retractable, and again, you can only give one.

Have fun, I'm glad you've decided to join. As the others said: learn, think, teach, and become an addict. That's pretty much it!

Welcome! And yes, this is a special little corner of the Internet, you never know what you will stumble onto coming in here, every day is something new, which is one reason I think people don't leave!
