I think the RT feed is showing a still. There is no sound that I can hear, suggesting the live feed has been replaced with a dark still image. Also, if the power had gone out, we would still see the glow of the flares.

As for the flares, the only reason they would need those is for a ground invasion. This really isn't looking good at all. I have a feeling Israel is making all the right noises to those who want a ceasefire, but continuing with their plan regardless of international opinion.

No, looking at the feed now, they've cut power to most of the city it looks like. It's not your imagination. Israel is trained similar to the US, and likes to operate at night, in darkness, so it would make sense to cut the power.

They just got serious about going in. The best way to operate with troops in the ground is to cut the information flow completely.

Could be ECM flares. However, as far as i know, only special operation aircraft in the United States use them.

No that I want to jump to any conclusions, but feeds going down right after parachute flares and some popping which sounded like machine gun fire = all signs pointing at a ground invasion
