Yes this is Infowars and yes this is Alex Jones, but his sources are reliable in this clip and I strongly suggest that you take the 20 minutes to sit down and listen to it. This isn't personal opinion when he says that if the Government ever does try to come for our guns that it will turn into a Civil War. All you people that voted Obama need to seriously consider what you just did. If the NDAA wasn't enough, he really DOES want your guns.

John Boehner and Eric Cantor are currently working on a bill that will instantly abolish the 2nd amendment.

I think we need to keep our eyes on the House too. I heard David Icke talking about it.

I don't trust the UN small arms thing at all. And while I'd like to believe people will not willingly give up their rights to their guns, after seeing people do just that during hurricane Katrina, I'm not so sure there will be this crazy Civil War if they do come for them. Especially with the verbiage I've heard quoted so far - if they only ban semi-automatics, they can say 'you still have the second amendment, go buy a revolver and a black powder rifle.'

I have a terrible feeling a tragic accident will claim my guns before the government can

And your avatar makes me laugh, OP.

Only the criminals on the streets having guns wouldn't be as bad as only the Govt. and Military having guns.

If a criminal wanted to rob you of your sandwich, you might be able to get the advantage on him...run/fight or disarm him if they weren't too quick...maybe.

But if only those in power had the guns, they could simply march down any street in any city and take whatever they wanted, including the city itself. Create any law they want and kill anyone offering up resistance.

That's the scenario I would watch out for.

Peace

Hence my staunch defense of the right to arms.

It is a matter of human survival to have access to arms.

I won't be giving my arms to the government. No one can take that right from me and I will jealously guard it.

Forgive my ignorance, but as a non-US person, I don't understand the paranoia about the access to weapons. There is no way a private citizen could amass the amount of weapons or training to pose a threat to drilled, trained professional soldiers/law enforcement so any resistance is surely futile? And if the Government wanted to, surely they could take what they wanted anyway? Any government could.....

our entire army and Russia's entire army took years of beatings from Afghanistan and they still haven't made a dent. how do you think 150 million will do to them in the same situation? behind every rock, tree, car, billboard, in the sewer, the forest, the cities of 110 floor high rises never knowing where the next bullet will come from.

The US Army, an organization that I am proudly part of, with all of it's training and technology, could not hope to hold the mainland US, or any particular state for very long. Indeed, the entirety of the US military would find the futility of such an effort very apparent and quickly.

I'm at a loss for words right now. Alex can be a bit dramatic at times but I too have read up on some of this stuff and he is right. Bama and his goons are gonna be pushing hard to get this stuff pushed through since he has one last term left and doesn't have to worry what the public think about him since this will be his last term. He wants to be remembered in the history books and banning firearms would definatley make his name stick out in history books for a long time to come. This is his legacy and "Change" that he promised for the people that voted for him.

This stuff is the reason why the 2nd Amendment was created in the first place, this is a "Tyrannical" governement that is working overtime to strip us of our rights. They gonna have one hell of a hard time trying to enforce these laws if it does ever go through, no way that it will have the outcome that they wish.

Thanks that makes sense. Surely then the US should follow Switzerland's example and require all men 18-60 to be armed and properly trained to defend their country? But then there must be people that no sane person would arm with a stick never mind a gun? The US is a massive country. Surely there isn't an army in the world capable of containing the whole of the US armed forces and breaking it down. Massive army, all the best equipment and nuclear weapons? Who would be dumb enough to invade America?

Good thing Obama knows we are a sovereign country and we don't take orders from the U.N.
Wait, Obama is in with the U.N.?

For the first time in history, a president of the United States would chair a conference at the U.N. Security Council

Oh, this must be progressivism. Because you see, for the globalists to make progress on their agenda, America must lose her sovereignty. What would be the first step you ask? Hmmm, not sure if it would be the first step (which would probably be 'get the right people in power') but I'm sure the second or third step would be to disarm the population for easier control and implementing your globalist agenda.

Awesome video RedmoonMWC

No truer words were ever spoken.
Notice Chuck Shumer up there grimacing about how this woman is spoiling his agenda.

With legislators like that who needs enemies?

As a UN sycophant Obama is going to try some wacky gun law, whether it's registration or an outright ban he's going to try. God help Congress if they go along with this crap. They'll need to move to Paraguay and live on the Bush ranch because nobody will want them in their home states ever again.

Trust him folks, he's a constitutional lawyer!!

I feel this UN treaty business and the way that those pushing for it are doing things with slight of hand methods, is very dangerous in other ways than just being against the people, and against the constitution..

If enough in congress go along with this and get some nasty stuff passed, the very people doing so would be endangering themselves and their families, because some people that feel extra "patriotic" could be painting a target on the backs of their heads and retaliate against them for doing these cowardly and traitorous deeds..

These people are either very, very stupid, or very , very arrogant... Or both!

Since recently when this attempt with this small arms treaty was overwhelmingly shut down, and now so quickly, the same people are attempting it again using lots of trickery, obviously hold every single one of their constituents in total disregard and even contempt. These people do not respect the voice of America at all, and people still defend them and support them, while the people they are supporting spit upon them. codependant denial perhaps?

Seriously mind boggling stuff happening..
