Something tells me this process has gone on for too long...

Edit: I watched a TV show about Orangutans and noticed that they're very similar to humans. They play with each other. They invent things, one invented a new method of obtaining food using a stick to dig up worms. They learn from each other, the others watched this new method of obtaining food and learned to do it themselves. They have individuality, as it turns out only the original inventor ended up having a taste for worms.

They have alpha males and much like us the only thing the alpha male seems to do is smack the others and take their bananas.
