How's that exactly? Obama has had the white house for the last four years and is going to have it four more. It's a democratic administration. The SCOTUS supported Obamacare. NONE of the Bush family is holding any office at all and they haven't for a while now. So how exactly does the Bush family have a stranglehold on our country?

This is not meant to take shots at the OP, but this version of George Bush is not exactly a "find."

He has been in the national spotlight basically his entire life.

My brother has a friend who attended law school with him at Texas. Should see what I can dig up before the record gets erased.

On second thought, scratch that. Ignore this post. I know no one, and I know nothing.

Thanks for a fair and balanced view. Have not seen alot of that around here lately. I dont think he will be old enough in 2016 though. Watch for Marco Rubio 2016.

Well TBTP have to get another Bush in office and soon so we can continue say," Bush's fault," into eternity.

The other day I was watching a bushism video,

I l almost died, I had a mouthful of tea, and choked then spit it all over my computer screen,

They still make me laugh,

OH GOD, why can't Obama be funny?

I guess we all know by now that this is actually not good news but 'old news.' True enough George the nephew is being groomed for Texas politics, but not as POTUS for now - more like a legislator first then to Governor, and who knows what after that.

The good news is (and I have been predicting this for a few years now) that Jeb Bush will be the candidate in 2016 - and he has the latino vote in the bag. He speaks fluent spanish and his wife is Latina and his children are Latino's by blood. I will have to dig out all the threads and posts (on other Forums and blogs) that I have made on this topic in the past coupl'a years and make another more up-to-date thread on "Jeb Bush as president" prediction...........

It means his Mother was born in Mexico.....

He was born in the U.S though, so he's American. My father was born in Sweden, but no one calls me half Swedish.

Moreover it means that he's going to have a shot at capturing a much wider demographic than this cycles POTUS and VP candidates were capable of.

Not really, he's a republican.

His mother has full Mexican blood...no one calls you half Swed because you're not important (no offense). And yes it will play a big political role in term of Hispanics.

I thought this was going to be about Jeb as well. Another George Bush as POTUS, I shudder at the thought. This guy may be the right man for the job, and I suppose that remains to be seen, but another George Bush... eww.. Now if Jeb were running, I'd probably vote for him. He did a pretty decent job in Florida, and I find him to be an atypical Bush.

Oh jeesh. Look out for this one. He's better looking that his predecessors, but I'm fairly certain the mentality is EXACTLY the same.

Then we have his black sheep sister Nicole, busted a few years ago for trying to pass a forged prescription for Xanax in an all-night Miami pharmacy because she was coming down from a coc aine binge and couldn't cope:

Mug shot

This one will take Texas if he wants it, because of the heavy hispanic population who will vote for anybody who promises them freedom of immigration, amnesty, jobs, whatever.

Same rich family, same sense of entitlement and the same idea of putting their boys through law school in order to catapult them into public office.

I cannot say anything nice about this family. It's just not in my nature to lie.

My reaction upon reading this thread:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

And that was all I could think for about 30 seconds.

Urgh, everyone apply your palm to your face and you will feel better.

But uh, He is good looking....I'll give him that. I'd hit it.

Wasn't Jeb the guy that got caught screwing with the vote count? That doesn't sound like a very trustworthy dude if it's the same guy I am thinking of.
