Possible Triangle Spotted in Essex, UK

First off i want to say im not a pro poster here i mainly lurk maybe join in on a few threads. Im not looking for stars or flags but wanted to report something as it happened so close to my home town and also it was an old school friend who had seen this. I CANNOT post any pictures or footage im just going by his word.

So early this afternoon/evening i was on my facebook when my friend posted saying he had seen a UFO on a main road travelling not far away from where i live. Before i could reply to his status he had put a description of it saying it was triangular in shape with a pulsating red light in the middle of it. I question him about it and he said that it was hovering in the sky and vanished in a flash of light. Immediately i thought of this video on youtube, sorry if its been confirmed as a hoax im not sure but its the one from france filmed in what looks like night vision.

Anyway ive sent my friend the same link to see if its similar to the video. Im also waiting on further infomation on what way he was travelling and where in the sky he saw it. In the mean time im going to screen shot the facebook page of where we discussed it and a screen shot of a picture he posted of a similar aircraft he saw and also i will post what he put on his facebook.

Can anyone help me actually how can i upload a picture from paint ..

I am not an imaging specialist, but Im sure someone will be along shortly who will tell you whats what with that video.

Since there appears to be, from what you have told us, no video or pictoral evidence of the incident you are talking about, there is little else that one can say, other than the triangular UFO is a fairly common sight (at least in terms of UFO sightings). In fact it is much more common these days than is the sight of the cigar shaped, or the saucer shaped UFO.

Why are you trying to transfer something from paint onto the site?

Thats the video im on about my friend said it vanishing in a flash, i dont suppose you know how to upload pictures from paint. Ive got a few screen shots of his facebook status and a google map of a rough location where it happened

Save your pics to a file and then go to your TOOLS (on ats)...then click ATS UPLOADS.

Find your file and upload. Click on the uploaded pic and copy the embed code. Paste it into your thread.

I think the triangle ufo's, probably all of them are army projects. Well, the tr-3b is triangle.Tr for triangle, 3b probably stands for 3 bulbs or balls.

Right i hope this works this is a screen shot of the facebook conversation i had on his status where he described what happened, again ive blocked out names and any other detail but the conversation is there. im trying to upload a google map of a rough area im talking about

Where it mentions the 127, that is the A127 which is a road which links Essex to the main routes in and out of London. I know this, because it terminates in my hometown in the Borough of Southend-On-Sea. I am pretty peeved that I missed this, but I have had the flu and havent left the house in two days.

I dunno, missed the Orionids because of the cloud, missed the fireworks events cos I got drunk instead, and missed UFO cos I had a cold. What a pain!

Was there no mention of apparent speed, although I take it, it was not blindingly quick.

The 'French video' I think got around a bit.

I always have to ask in these cases...Why would the Military test something like this over a major Metro area?

I understand that it could very well be Military and if it is, why no attempt at secrecy?

If this thing failed, crashed and burned in downtown Paris?

sorry to add basildon is to the lower right there are two turn off connecting it to the a127 which are in the circle and he was travelling toward brentwood in the upper left corner, from what i gather the sighting was in or just around the red circle

Yes that is correct he was travelling east bound i think toward the M25, london bound but was on the turn off for basildon on the A127

I do think this as well why would they tested round high populated areas, ive know my friend my teens at school and know him pretty well my personal belief is that he is telling the truth he isnt the sort of person to lie. im only posted as i said because it was close to home and ive heard alot about triangle sightings around the world. im still waiting for more information about the direction or position it was in the sky

Because they'd know eyewitness accounts would end up being attributed to aliens. The triangle thing is very intriguing, as there are numerous reports from credible sources from as far back as 1989. It's even been spotted over an oil rig in the North Sea (in 1991, if I remember correctly).
We know the F117A stealth bomber was an excellently kept secret from the late 1970s until the Gulf war, and we also know some drone fighters are also triangular in shape, and have been kept under wraps until quite recently.

It's too close to Southend's Rochford airport for our military to be testing anything where that was sighted.The approach path from the south west will take them well south of Basildon and over Canvey Island,so the even the military would probably have to stay well clear of the Basildon area.

Quite true now southend is pretty much active i have the odd easy jet fly low over my house and a few propped planes. sometimes they come in north over basildon and canvey and then chuck a right (pilots left) into southend

also brentwood and romford areas are used as stacking areas for heathrow

Thats true as well i remember as a child i was at a midlenhall air show in England its a USAF base, it was the 90s and we got to see the b2 bomber do two fly bys n bugger off that was its first public showing in the UK and according to wikipedia its first flight was 1989
