2012 Voting Machine Altering Votes: Pennsylvania

Electrical voting?? can it be made easy or easy to jinx scores like that? Piece of PAPER, pencil, draw your number on the card, fold it, take it to the dude and get it stamped, drop into a locked box. Thats how its done properly.

Please. Is anyone here really naive enough to believe that rigging a voting machine so that it would be seen obviously by the voter, would be the method used by actual fraudsters? Is this not a site that revels in exposing disinfo? That's practically a commercial for "It's the Republicans not us!".

Real electronic voter fraud would be at the level of counting them and reporting them. Not showing a voter that their vote got screwed up.

So why do you people feel you Shouldnt have to show ID?

What can possibly be wrong with that, if you aren't attempting to commit voter fraud??

Sounds shady.

Apparently Obama had more voting machines that were bought off, just better at not getting caught?!

More voting machines rigged, more poll workers paid off, more posters and clothing supporting him ILLEGALLY at polling places, more vote buying, more intimidation, more threats of violence, more actual violence.....

Hence, a "win". He doesn't even have to worry about getting caught, because we don't have a real Justice Department anymore, and Congress is full of cowards. Otherwise, he would have been impeached for bypassing Congress to go to war in Libya.

to add a personal note on this - the vote switching happened to my friend's mom in San Mateo, CA as well. She was a little frantic and was asking on facebook who she could tell.

Some gal on Coast-to-Coast w/ Noory just claimed she had hard proof of Romney votes switching to Obama in NV and OH, and Oama votes going to Romney in PA. (heard it a few minutes ago circa 3:45ish AM EST) For the record I'm a Libertarian

They're both NWO anyway but it does give pause for thought

Maybe his finger was wet, or something else, which would cause a touch-screen to not work right (I am pretty sure). You can cause a machine to not work like that, if you wanted to cause controversy to invalidate election results.

If you have trouble with a voting machine, all you have to do is tell the workers, and they must let you use another machine.

Did you hear he won?

What about if multiple people are aware the machine is faulty and leave it in place? Is conspiracy enough for you? Furthermore, there is insufficient evidence in the video to make a determination about the source of the glitch,(or programmed routine) so perhaps you should reserve your judgement, since you sounded so certain.

Obama won the state, either it was the lousiest conspiracy attempt by the Romney camp, or it was indeed just a glitch. Not everything is a conspiracy.

Given the result, they obviously didn't rig enough of 'em...

first you assume " they " [ being the republicans ] rigged the machines - in which case i ask again - why do it in a way that lets the victim know ?

second - has the possibility occured to you that the democrats may have perpetrated an election fraud - in order to win ?

And where are you getting this from? The video didn't show that happening. It just showed some idiot pressing two spots on the screen before turning the very short clip off.

Such poor reasoning.

1) The Constitution doesn't require it. That's #1.
2) Here in PA, one of the state GOP reps said blatantly that voter ID in PA would ensure that Romney won PA. This isn't about voter fraud. It's about the disenfranchisement of an entire block of citizens, attempting to deny them the right to vote.
3) Our governor tried to delay the lawsuit until October so that people wouldn't have time to get the proper ID before the voter registration deadline, which was October 9.

So now, who's being shady again?

See my previous post from Forbes...Can't make this stuff up...Hart Intercivic provides the machines for PA...the machine in the video...Hart Intercivic was the 11th largest donor to the Romney Campaign...and members of it's Board of Directors were sitting at that dinner table in Boca Raton when Romney made his famous "47 percent" comments

Sidenote: Touch-screen voting machines are similiar in hardware and software to VLTs...Video Lottery Terminals or Casino Gaming Devices, the same engineers do both. The point is that it is just a line or two of burried code needed to sway an election, just like Gaming touch-screens are engineered to payout only Xth percentage of the time. The voting machines can operate perfectly normally for 99% of voters and rig the vote only the 1% percent of the time randomly...spread that over several machines and you win a district, county...state. It's a stats game.

This is quite interesting in my opinion. All of this is really, although I feel that the problem in the video of not being able to select Obama correctly is nothing more than a systems problem. And I really dislike Romney, so it would be easy for anyone to throw a tantrum about fraud, which still could be the case...I just doubt it.

Anyway, what I am wondering is if the post I quoted above has anything to do with why Romney did not release his tax returns...At first I thought that it was possible that he did not want the public to know how much money he made, which is still the likely reason. Then I thought about how Mormons tithe to their church, and I figured that he was not giving the full amount of his income to his church, thus he did not want to divulge that information. Now it seems like he may not have wanted to divulge income from a company that was linked, in a huge way, to the voting machines in various locations.

Actually, all 3 of these reasons probably made withholding these documents a no-brainer. It would have absolutely ruined any chance he had of winning this election, which as we now know, was not very big. I underestimated, like he did, the bulk of the Latino vote, which will likely increase a fair amount by the next election. Thus I foresee the democrats holding the presidency for a long time to come. This will also eventually spill over into both the House and the Senate, and eventually the era of breaks and incentives for big-businesses will decrease dramatically. IF we can make it until then. IMO we need democrats in both houses, as this is the only way we are going to get the government to cut these trillions of dollars we are spending on our military overseas. But it seems that all of the businessmen who are getting richer from the "rebuilding" of locations overseas are republicans, thus there is GOP support for these actions over there, under the guise of "freedom and democracy." Ya right.

Maybe someone could take this and make a new thread out of the following if it has not already been done:

If it is really screwed up the spot needed to be pressed can be off the screen where it is not possible to press.

To calibrate a touch screen, the machine is put in a calibration mode, targets are presented and the operator needs to press with a pointy object EXACTLY where the target is.

If they use a finger tip instead of a stylus, or are not careful where they press, the result could be buttons located off the screen where there is no screen.
