What ever it is , chances are it isnt there now , that terra server only has 1 problem , the pics are old , now if the sat took a new one every say 30 mins we wold be rolling

I have always wanted to move to Arizona, now there's one more reason, woudl def go see this place. Damn sure looks like a hole to me !!

Here's something else in that map vicivnity.

At first, I thought it was something of terraserver overlayed:

Circles - terraserver.microsoft.com...

To the right of those are some kind of buildings/vehicles

But then I enlarged and zoomed, and found buildings in the middle of these circles (the size gives ratio to how large the circles are)

For all I know these may be agricultural things, I donno. Just made me curious

Looks more like a meteor impact perhaps...The striation seems to support that...

The Area your looking at is around Area 51 in near the White Sands Testing Area that is and was used for testing missiles, my guess is its where a missile has impacted, go 30 km SE to find the Ufo's.

Doh!!! Now I feel silly, I saw it was in the LA area, but didn't even bother to think of that, hehe.....

I want to thank you guys for posting this...my husband now has a new obsession....I won't see him for days now other than when I'm at my computer while he is on his side of the computer room on his computer!

About the circles, jeez look at this one, completely different, but just as expansive, yet it is as a pie chart.

Zoom in close and you can also see some type of winding path/road in it (in 10o'clock of the pie) - winding like a half-coiled snake. The whole of the circle is also in a perfect rectangular road (assuming road) box.

Hope someone here has a cause for these, as the curiosity of my 13 black cats is now KILLING ME !!! lol

The circles look like some type of crop. Why they're like that and of what I dunno, but it looks like corn maybe? They grow crops like that in the plains dont they?

The one that looks like a wagon wheel looks like a test site. Maybe another explosives test site?

Y'know, guys, you CAN zoom in on the image.

It's stock tanks.

What you're seeing is a truck road to the stock tank and part of the ranch road(s) and the paths made by a lot of cattle (and probably wildlife) heading for water.

(edited to add that a "stock tank" is a large, round "pond" (the black stuff is the way that shallow water features resolve) made of corrugated iron and concrete, sunk into the ground and often serviced by a deep well. We use windmills to pump the water from the well into a tank. They're quite common in arid areas.)

kinda odd though.. a second ago we determined that that's a test site, and there's srapnell and a hole from a missle and #, and now it's a nice sunny field with cows jumping around, and ponds of water... i thought that was a dest anyway, why is there a pond... im not saying you are wrong, it's just weird...

The last one appears to be a pond, etc. as well, when you zoom in...

too bad the terraserver pics aren't in color

I agree wtih yuanshao101, the thing should take pics every 30 mins
that would make it much easier to tell what the things are
