Halo 4 is lacking the puch it needs to last more than a few months. It has top notch visuals, but lacks the core substance that made Halo strong and
does nothing in particular to add onto that substance that made it a game that could be played for years on end.
The MP maps are fun for casual game-play, but get stale really fast because of the lack of competitive constancy and flexibility. Maximizing the
advantages of the maps are fairly simple yet it still fails to encourage team maximization because of how spacious it is and the lack of 'key' areas
where teams can almost always effectively engage enemies and support each other.
The vehicle battles are an improvement and so is the shooting mechanics. But like I said earlier, the lack of a skip gap really makes this game more
like fast food than a 5 star gourmet dish.
