A new survey has found many middle-class UK families want to emigrate as Britain can no longer offer them a good quality of life. Almost two in three families surveyed want to emigrate due to the economy, weather and a loss of national pride.
With the economic downturn Britain’s living standards have been declining as household bills rise such as fuel, mortgage, and food prices. According to a new research released by audit firm KPMG this week, nearly 5 million workers in the UK are not earning enough to maintain a decent standard of living. The study concluded that twenty per cent of the working population receives less than the minimum wage, which is $13 an hour.
85 per cent of families confessed they wanted their children to grow up in a country “with a stronger sense of community” than they believe exists in the UK. At the same time, nine out of ten British parents said they want their children to live in a country with a less celebrity-obsessed culture and a more optimistic ‘can do’ attitude.

So when Polish, Iranians, Afghans, Iraqis and Somalians come to England for a better quality of life it's unacceptable, but it's acceptable for you to go to another country to do the same?

The last time I spent any significant amount of time there was a few years ago, for about 6 months. I recently discovered there is a warrant out for my arrest for non payment of TV license. You couldn't make it up. I did have a TV but just used it for Xbox, had no intention of watching the brain dead reality shows and propaganda news, but apparently just owning a TV now you need a license. I always thought it was to help fund the wonderful BBC. I'm thinking I might send a letter explaining I am not prepared to fund an organization which is rampant with pedophilia and sexual abuse.

Nothing wrong with immigrants who come to the UK and work.
Sadly, many if not most Afghans, Iraqis and Somalians jump the housing queue and immediately go on benefits.
Someone is paying for that and it isn't the Afghans, Iraqis or Somalians.

If theres a warrent out for your arrest then come back and let them arrest you. Then sue them for wrongfull arrest.
Fact: You do NOT need a license to own a tv. You only need a license IF YOU WATCH A PROGRAM WHILE IT IS BEING BROADCAST! That really is the truth!! However they will make many threats with carefully worded letters that scare the pants of most people, but if you take the time to look carefully you'll always find those magic words "Could - Might - Maybe". I dont own a TV and every month I get letters telling me I'm being investigated and even get letters telling me I MAYBE going to court. I throw them all in the bin.
