Way Above Award for April

It is with great priviledge that on behalf of board users and the Cosmic staff (admins, mods) that we have nominated our good friend William as the recipient of the Way Above Award for the month of April.

Not only that, but the admins/mods have decided that wasn't enough, so William receives our very first Way Above Lifetime Achievement Award.

Every regular visitor to the forums has by now heard of William and the extraordinary job he has done to transform AboveTopSecret.com into a hugely popular spot to take part in discussions with like-minded (and sometimes unlike-minded) people from across the world.

Not only has William been kind enough to dedicate a huge amount of his time getting the latest version of XMB 1.8 running our new forums, but tweaking it with some great new features, interactive as well as security/stability-wise.

To go even further, AboveTopSecret.com is now being hosted on William's own DigitalF8 webserver. This has provided an amazing increase in security and processing speed to name the most important.

It doesn't end there though, keep an eye for more coming changes thanks very much to our own ATS IT Director and Administrator, William.

It's been fun to actually work on a website again... you know... get my hands dirty. That used to be what I do, but anymore I manage those that do real work and do less-fun things like write digital strategies, and media plans, and all that. Getting back into a site, where I can poke and prod without waiting for client approval to change things has been a blast... almost theraputic in a way.


But let me make one thing perfectly clear! I'm still a skeptic and you're all nuts!
