Great job creating those carvings.

I went to a fair one time and saw a guy carving stuff out of logs and decided I could do it too. My wife said I was crazy and wanted to buy one of his carvings. I made her a deal to buy a chainsaw for carving and I would make her a better carving for our house cheaper than she could buy that one.

So I made a Bear Bench similar to what I saw at the fair.

Hey there Wifibrains ... thanks for the heads-up about this thread ... your work is amazing and I feel thoroughly honoured to be carved in wood ... you really do have a natural talent ... I also sent you a message on FB

I thought I would add your carving here so it can be compared with my avatar ... I think you really captured my good side

Hey there Wifibrains ... I just wanted to tell you and everyone who reads this that I am so pleased to have spoken to you and I'm so excited to be the proud new owner of the Woodwytch Carving after arranging to buy it from you.

It arrived today and I just wanted you to know that it is even better in the flesh (so to speak) than in it's photograph ... it is a beautiful piece of artwork that is so tactile ... it also gets the seal of approval from both my cat's who have sniffed every inch of it.

Again thank-you so so much and long may you carry-on carving ... and selling lot's of pieces ... I love mine so much just wish you'd signed it (tip for future pieces maybe)

A Very Happy Woodwytch

I stand corrected ... I just took another look on the back and your signature is indeed there ... I've been too busy admiring the front I missed it

They're amazing.

I once used to date a woodcarver, and he taught me the basics. Seeing your beautiful work makes me want to have a go again... if I fail miserably I'll buy some of yours instead. Hahahaha.

WOW those are awesome!!

I like the Egyptian one!

How long does it usually take you to do one, on average?

I have always found wood work interesting since you basically have one chance ot get it right. Imo it takes skill and talent and seems to be something that isn't done nearly as much as it use to. Glad someone is doing it right!
