The site seems rather legit, but not being familiar with them it's hard to say.
Not that they have a reputation of distorting bigfoot stories or anything like that, but they are considered by many to be far from reputable.

WND’s point of view is best described as a cross between the now-defunct supermarket tabloid Weekly World News, which was famous for reporting on Elvis sightings, and The New American, a monthly magazine published by the far-right, conspiracist John Birch Society. In its 15 years online, it has introduced readers to a smorgasbord of bizarre ideas, specializing in anti-gay, anti-Muslim, and anti-liberal propaganda; antigovernment conspiracy theories; and end-times prophecy.
It featured a six-part series claiming (falsely) that soybean consumption causes homosexuality and promoted Scott Lively’s vile opus The Pink Swastika, which says that gays were behind the Holocaust. It has identified the first “leftist” as Satan, and declared that Muslims have a “20-point plan for conquering the United States by 2020.” It has warned of secret plans to create a North American Union, advised readers to invest all their assets in gold, and promoted myriad, if conflicting, theories about when and how the world will end.

WorldNetDaily (WND) says it opposes racism in any form. That’s why the online publication has added a series of articles on “black mob violence” to its usual fare of antigovernment conspiracy theories, gay-bashing, anti-Muslim propaganda, and End Times prophecy.
Just the same, I still hope the bigfoot story is true.

Bigfoot does exist, claim scientists
(NEWS.com.au) — DNA tests on hair found supposedly found in a Siberian may actually prove the existence of the Abominable Snowman.
Three separate DNA tests of the hair reported it “came from a human-like creature which is not a Homosapien yet is more closely related to man than a monkey”.
Hello ATS, tired of politics? Me too. How about some cryptid news...I just came across this news piece, I know nothing about this site, however, it states 3 tests suggest it came from an unknown primate, if I am reading correctly in my haste to post here before lunch hour is over. Have always been a believer that Bigfoot does indeed exist, this news would be very cool if true. On pad, not sure how to inert websites, am going to copy and paste.

I suspect there a lot we don't know about this planet - especial in the ocean.

There's a basic flaw in the whole Bigfoot premise. Intelligent creatures use tools. They should have nests/caves. None of that has ever been found.
Even in the wild, gorillas and chimps make nests, which are found, and used to track them. Their foraging areas show obvious signs of usage. Where does Bigfoot sleep? Does he eat his food raw? Where's the hearths? A diet of nuts and berries all year round, for a creature that size, yet no evidence of it's foraging? And that's only assuming it's herbivorous.
It's smart enough to hide from humans, but also smart enough to hide every trace of it's existence?
Dang, I should become a Bigfoot hunter!
