HAARP Challenge

Here's the deal, my pops built the bitch "HAARP" he works for the AFRL and its being shut down due to cost inefficacy for its simple purpose.. its too expensive to run 6 engines that could power a locomotive to make a small - half the size of a football field of plasma in the uppermost atmosphere. case in point. imaging a bajillion springs stacked perfectly sky high into space.... what would the springs at the bottom look like? compressed fully under the weight of the stack. how would the one at the top look like? fully open.Haarp CAN manipulate the highest part of the atmosphere.... hahahahahah but it cannot alter the jet stream nor sandy nor any trade wind even.... its laughable fantasy. mother nature poops on scientists who want to try. if you are one of those, good luck to ya, ur gonna need it!! listen to Science by system of a down. i can play that note for note. lyrics are bomb.too.

you obviously never heard of a yagi antenna, "Yagi-Uda array was invented in 1926 by Shintaro Uda of Tohoku Imperial University, Japan, with a lesser role played by his colleague Hidetsugu Yagi"

So, you're arguing that googlescholar won't produce hundreds of hits for HAARP, many of them from Geophysical Letters? You would be wrong...

It exists...data, that is. Plenty of it. I just rarely if EVER see people here who either have it handy or link to it to support anything. As if just assuming HAARP is home to a mad science experiment meant to doom us all is a pure given.

If you're getting your data from Educate Yourself or bibliotecapleyades, or worse, from Begich, then you don't really have data.

I've spent my share of long hours studying Gakona and everything about that facility.....and 4 others in the world that you *CAN* see..unlike HAARP on updated satellite imagery. I just don't give any more credit in *ABSOLUTE* terms for any one theory over another.

If you understand radio theory, then when you see the facility, you understand more than a lot of people, because the thing makes sense.

The applications of it, that can be really eggheaded. Plasma physics is rough.

See....I don't have compartmental security clearance any more than anyone else on this thread..

Speak for yourself! HAARP's design wasn't secure. However, some of the uses of some aspects of it spun off secret and top secret projects elsewhere, and likely still do. Gakona's a research facility. Sometimes the research has interesting implications.

Any real antenna is directional. The only true isotropic radiators are an engineering fiction.

The German scientists built the first FUNCTIONAL Directional Radio array that actually did anything.

Others may have written papers and demonstrated some simple theory, but they never did anything with it.


The Ionosphere is NOT coming back. If there WAS an Ionosphere where it's supposed to be the GOCE satellite would have to use her Ion Thrusters and would shortly run out of fuel.

GOCE is not encountering ANY air molecules up there where there are supposed to be. She is THE lowest flying satellite and was built to actually fly threw the upper atmosphere to collect data.


In late October 2009 HAARP was used to try and steer a typhoon away from the Philippines and into China. They screwed up and the plasma ball they created to push up on the upper atmosphere reached out and GRABBED the solar wind and funneled a direct beam down to Earth. Everyone in the Pacific Region witnessed the event and knew what it was. That event blew off much of Earth's Ionosphere.

It also boiled the sea and damned near killed off all vegetation in a 1,600 miles circumference.

Needless to say many Naval ships had to be degaussed after that event.

Yes, it is finding air molecules where they are supposed to be - you ignore the fact that Unusually quiet solar activity has produced very calm atmospheric conditions

Absolutely everything you say can be shown to be complete bollox by going to the GOCE website and doing some reading.

The easist way to show you have no idea what you're talking about is to read the newsletters that have been published.

First newsletter - May 2010

Due to the exceptionally low solar activity level in the first half of 2009 (and in fact during almost the entire year) most of the commissioning phase period from March till September last year was spent lowering the satellite orbit through natural decay to an altitude where the average air drag would meet the envelope of the ion propulsion based drag-free control system.
The gradual decay was halted at 254.9 km mean altitude in mid-September 2009...

So there *IS* drag, lower due to lower solar activity, and the ion engine is then turned on to maintain altitude.

Second newsletter - March 2011

Solar activity has increased in recent weeks and its evolution is being carefully monitored. The average drag levels have gone up by roughly a factor two since launch and are expected to double further until the maximum of the current solar cycle...

Third newsletter - December 2011

However and in particular during the last three months a significant increase in atmospheric drag has been experienced. Compared to the early days of the mission the average drag has gone up by a factor of five which so far can be accommodated by GOCE’s electric propulsion system.

I suggest you drop your argument at this point and admit defeat.
You've no ammunition to counter the facts published by the GOCE team.
