I'm making the change from bagged tea to loose leafed tea.

I was looking for a very specific tea infuser from the movie Sherlock Holmes 2: A Game of Shadows.

Now, it doesn't have to be verified Sherlock Holmes memorabilia. I would just like to see if anyone could find one similar to this one.

I know that there are "tea ball infusers" where it's like a ball cage that you just leave in the tea, but I would like one that goes across the cup as the picture shows.

Here is the picture:
Star's for those who find it. I really appreciate it.

Even if it isn't, it's pretty close.

Thank you!

Thats a tea strainer rather then an infuser, that design is pretty common it would be Edwardian I think
You will find them on ebay and in antique shops all the time (well here in the UK anyway)

That one has a bowl to keep it on after use to stop your tablecloth getting tea stained

I got a real peach of an infuser years back in the shape of an early sci fi rocket-bulbous with fins.

Jasmine flavoured loose leaf, combined with fresh orange and lemon zest, plus one drop of bergamot oil was my best creation.

No milk, sugar if desired-try it,you will enjoy, especially after a hard day at work.
Awesome stuff.

If you're serious about drinking loose leaf tea then you need to get a good quality tea pot, preferably glass or ceramic. The ritual of making the tea really adds to the overall enjoyment, and there is always a second or third cup sitting there in the pot if you feel like it.

Hope you find what you're looking for. Best be off - the kettle is boiling.
