The goal here is to Deny Ignorance after all people... If you cannot lucidly defend your statements, then you should be bounced to the ideological curb. Perhaps there should be a web site that does not promote "Deny Ignorance" and you could post there?

Surely there are nuggets of unknown information here on this site. Surely our goal is to suss out these golden factoids and present them to to the world. You know, the confused world mystified by Media and so easily duped by flashing lights and mirrors? The ones we have to convince to come to believe as we do - that these hidden things are real and worth knowing? If not, we all just sound like an average day at the local insane asylum.

I believe you contradict yourself here - you mention Phage as the voice of reason and knowledge yet you say this site is to deny ignorance but what I take that to mean is that ignorance is those who don't believe there are things going on around us that we don't quite comprehend (conspiracy theories) and that we should deny that type of ignorance because it is happening. You state that pretty well in your post about the media duping us, but you praise Phage for dispelling it.

I know I'm a new member but I've been following the site for quite a while before registering, and I know Phage has like the stardom of this place that Clint Eastwood has in Hollywood and I'm just a adolescent virgin poking my head around, but it's the idea of conspiracy theories that drew me here. I'm not sure what drew Phage here because he debunks every conspiracy theory. According to him there are no conspiracy theories and it all can be explained by simple science, and he backs it up well. I give it to the guy that he is a smart guy, but what is his purpose on this site. It's almost like he has an agenda to put us all at ease. "Don't worry, be happy!"

I conclude this post with this one final note to ponder - HAARP: technology once in private hands but acquired by US Defense. Why would that be if it was so harmless as Phage points out?

You are confused. What the patent concerns is the system used to do the heating, not the heating process. The heating process is not patentable any more than boiling water by putting it on a stove it. What is patentable is parts of the stove. There are other patents to accomplish the same thing. The Eastlund patent is not for HAARP, it is for a natural gas fueled magnetohydrodynamic generator powered system which would be far more powerful than HAARP. I don't see anything in that list of patents from the con-man Begich which applies specifically to HAARP. Maybe you can point out one that does.





BTW, a couple of other ionospheric heating patents. Not Eastlund, not APTI.

HAARP is operated and maintained by Marsh Creek LLC with The University of Alaska playing the major role in coordinating the research. It is used by students and scientists from the US and other countries.

OMG, that was comical. After having gone through many a hearing test and wearing those things for most of them, I got one hell of a belly laugh out of that. I honestly dont think that Venture was conned though; I think he absolutely knew better, but that sort of thing made for MUCH better television and conspiracy talk for his show.

The problem is that when someone sees a conspiracy, because they don't understand the science behind something. There are things that are being done behind our backs, that we'll never know about, but that doesn't mean that everything is a conspiracy.

Chemtrails is a prime example (I use that one because aviation is one thing I know very very well). Every single picture of a supposed chemtrail plane has been something else, but the people taking the picture either deliberately mislead people, or they honestly don't know better. I'm leaning towards some of both, the bigger pages or people in the "movement" are deliberately misleading people, but some people that don't know planes, and aren't sure what they're looking at are honestly mistaken about what they're seeing.

So, should people like Phage, and myself, that know what we're talking about just sit back, and let things like that go on? Or should we speak up if we know better, or have a better understanding of what's being discussed.

I've read several threads where I've contributed little, or nothing at all, because I don't know the material well enough, but if it's something that I know then I'm going to speak up and try to correct misconceptions or flat out lies put forth by people.

What's your point? Do you think any contractor who does work for the military is evil or something? You're going to have to include a lot of contractors in that list. A contractor who builds military housing is dirty? A contractor who provides food is dirty?

Don't you think it makes sense that a contractor with expertise in building antenna systems would bid on a project with an extensive antenna system? Don't you think that a contractor with such expertise would be selected over one who didn't?
