I doubt it, if they knew where the station/safe house was it's likely they had been casing it for a long time. It's more likely they didn't want Turkey involved in it.

No you're completely wrong. Lt. Col. Doug isn't selling anything, but I get it, you're trying to disqualify what he's saying for your own agenda. Here’s what I have a problem with. Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer is known for his book that the government had to buy because it contained classified information. First why is he writing about classified information? He makes claims that he knows who was there and what was going on during the attacks even though he lost his clearance years ago and is no longer in the military.

Lt.Col is a mid-rank in the military for officers 0-4 to be exact. So he has been out of the loop for years but expects us to believe he is privy to what happened that day behind closed doors. I may have miss heard him but he said we could have scrambled a c-130 which makes no sense if he said AC-130 it makes even less sense because it would be useless in tight quarters urban combat because there would be such a high chance of killing our own people with that fire power. Like killing a fly with a sledgehammer. But just for fits and giggles let’s say he is on the up and up why on earth would he be telling all of this to Rush of all people unless no one at Fox would listen.

What do we know about him?
1 he is no longer in the military and lost his security clearance before being discharged.
2 he wrote a book with classified Intel
3 he seems to like attention
4 he seems to think an AC-130 is good for urban combat
5 he has not told us his sources (RED FLAG)

I could throw a few more things in there but this should be enough. I am willing to make a bet that this guy is going to write another book or is in the process right now of writing one. All this publicity can’t hurt sales.

At the very least everyone should be cautious about buying into this. If he is on the up on this I would be very surprised. What source that was there that day would risk there career by associating with him and feed him intel?

I did not accuse you personally of anything.

I was just musing about how disinformation is dispersed in order to confuse the issue at hand. To create other scenarios where usually there is just enough truth included to make it a possibility.

This kind of ploy is designed to distract the public and make us question the truth. We like to get things right. Especially those of us attracted to places like ATS.
