It seems everytime someone mentions David Icke on this forum or refers to some of his work, people say 'I know people don't like Icke, but...'

I honestly don't get it, he has done as much as anyone in trying to get people to wake up to the reality of this world. I'll go through a few of my points-

1. People may not agree with his theories on Reptilians, but is his theory that crazy? Let's face it folks, we live in a crazy world, no one really knows why we are here or even 'how' we are here. Of all the theories, consider that the elite lack empathy, they do not show any human compassion whatsoever. Is it really that crazy to believe forces from another world or dimension are at work manipulating us and have done since the dawn of mankind?

2. Icke had a good job as a presenter. He gave it all up to try and expose the reality of the world and how we are manipulated. At the beginning, he didn't make any money, he used to talk to very small audiences and faced extreme ridicule for doing so.

3. Yes, Icke now makes money from what he does. But we all need to make money from what we do to buy food and pay the bills. Icke lives a modest lifestyle and I'm sure from book sales and ticket sales he makes a lot of money but keep in mind he works everyday researching and putting together new material. If you note from his recent stuff, there are some high end graphics in his videos and excellent editing, he is investing the money he makes into creating better messages to be spread to more people. His recent stuff even includes music exposing the NWO, that takes investment. It's not as though he is running off with the profits- he is reinvesting them into spreading his message even more.

4- Here is a 6 hour video from David Icke's lecture called 'Beyond the Cutting Edge'-

I'm not expecting you to watch the whole thing, but pick any point in the lecture at random and watch a few minutes, you don't have to agree with everything he says but his OVERALL message is extremely important and mostly true-

- He exposes how the media is used to manipulate us, control us and keep us distracted from what is really going on.

- He exposes the sham of modern democracy, two main parties and two seemingly different choices, yet the same outcome is set once the elections are over as has happened over and over again.

- He exposes education and how kids are being dumbed down.

- He exposes 'Divide and Conquer' and how it is used to control the entire planet.

- He exposes how we have enough knowledge and technology to solve world hunger and for everyone to live in peace yet we use that knowledge to kill each other and fight wars.

- He exposes the Banking Cartels who keep us in debt and slaves to the system whilst they continue to hoard the world's wealth.

- He exposes how the elite use 'Fear' to keep us down and in a negative state of consciousness, one of the main examples being the MSM.

Who are we? Why are we here?

There is so much we do not understand about the elite and this universe. When you ask the unanswerable questions, every theory sounds just as crazy as what Icke thinks is the answer. Don't overlook his work because you don't agree with his core theories. David Icke has a hugely important message for us all if you can just look past your preconceived opinions of a man who has worked non stop for over 20 years to help expose the NWO agenda.

I am a fan of ickes. just read human race get off your knees a while ago. i am not sure about every thing he says but i believe, that he believes himself. maybe he wants to appear nuts to some people, and only get through to some. if he was to good, and had a lot more followers, he would be more apt to have an "accident".

I have asked that question myself. Sure some of his conclusions are a little out there. Some downright sounding like something out of a sci fi movie.

Then there are some of his ideas you can relate too. Things like greed, power, all the things that sound like something no person could be capable of.

All throughout history there have been people who will take advantage of situations and even people to come out ahead. The most brutal dictators that have existed all throughout time didn't just up and disappear overnight, the world we live in isn't all sunshine and rainbows. The first step to solving a problem is admitting it exists.

To totally discredit what someone says based on having a different view of something you cannot prove sounds a little ignorant to me. Not to say I put full faith in what he says. I'm sure he has done enough research to know a little about his subjects than the haters that won't even check up on his research to see how he comes to his conclusions. I will say looking at a situation, detaching your our preconceived notions and removing emotion from the equation, you just might learn something.

People probably thought the some of greatest minds and inventors all throughout history were sometimes crazy and sometimes even doing the devil's work because they couldn't see things from a different perspective.

Even if the guy makes a few bucks selling books, or giving lectures, more power to him. He found something he obviously is passionate about and turned it into a living.

Some of the people that will hate and bash the guy for having different views must be jealous or something.

Sometimes its just easier to ignore the problems that plague other people and focus on yourself. I'm not that way, but I respect others decisions enough not to get angry at them because, who knows, its a big universe, maybe those people need to come to those realizations themselves, you can't spoon feed people something they don't want to hear and expect them to turn around at the drop of a hat.

I've read him once about an author he was attacking as if she is the devil. In fact, I've never read something more evil than what David Icke wrote.

It seems to me that he causes panic and rides the wave to see what he can take.. like a thief.

My guess is that he has enough intelligence to get a semi-realistic impression of TPTB but hopes top dictate who is good and bad according to an agenda.

There is no expose on the NWO. He is attacking the idea as itself is a threat, rather than the analyzing the players in a reasonable fashion.

I don't know if he's just confiused and lost in a bit of ego, or if he's downright satanic.

His followers are the dumbest people anyone can have the displeasure of meeting - They are alarmist, panic whores and self interested ingrates with barely a few brain cells between them.

Kids are smarter than his followers. Icke is a con-man that teaches people there are reptile-people who rule the world.

Kids would call bs on this guy...lol

Does someone who says they believe in God with no proof make them insane or gullible and you should take everything they say as wrong?

Not hating on religion, just using it as an example.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day but make no mistake, it's still broken.
He's a little too out there for my taste. Just makes me wonder sometimes if his cheese has slid completely off his cracker...

Let's humour you then, why do you take this view?

He discusses at length the centralisation of power that is apparent in the world today, divide and conquer, do you deny all these things?

Or is it simply because he believes a non human force is at work guiding and manipulating mankind? That may seem crazy at first, but what would be your take- if you had to answer the question- 'how and why are we here'? What put us here? All answers are crazy for those who even dare attempt to answer it.

It's simple really why people don't like Icke. You did mention it early on in your post but I would like to expand
on it: You may not believe in his reptilian theory . Not only do I not believe in the reptilian theory, but I
believe it is an effective way to make most people think the rest of the facts are equally ridiculous. It's the perfect
way to paint all conspiracy theories and theorists with the same brush: looney. He also seems to get the
lions share of the attention through the media so everyone can get a taste of crazy. If you take a nice clean
glass of water and mix in 30% sewage you are have something that is undrinkable. This is what Icke does to the
truth, he does a disservice to facts.

Yeah it sucks when ideas become associated with people. If the person goes down in a blaze of glory, they take the facts with them.

I always tell people to research their own facts, even if I tell them myself. You can convince some people to believe in anything if you try hard enough.

I think you're just upset that people with common sense would call BS on Icke, like most children would. But go ahead and keep believing a con-man.

Who wants to research the facts presented by someone who comes off as crazy? Not many people. Since all of the otherwise true facts he presents have the E.T. reptilian back story, he's nothing more than a disinformation artist trying to throw people off trails of inquiry that are publicly available; hence the over publication of his nonsense. This tips the scales of available information in favor.of fringe wacko theories and therefore throws the general public off of the truth.

So I watched most of that and still fail to see how he owned him. I actually have no clue why you even posted that as it had nothing in relation to Icke declaring himself as the son of God.

Once the son of God, now he believes in Lizard people. Icke is either schizophrenic or a con-man.

Ever since following him on twitter, I've started to have a few suspicions about him. I wouldn't say he is anti Semitic but most of his tweets refer to stories about Israel, a few of which have turned out to be wildly bogus.

I used to like him, although found the whole reptilian thing damages his credibility, the amount of people he claims are reptoids is quite large.

OP. I S&Fed you just for being open to possibilities beyond the reality consensus, and groupthink this world is stuck in. Having said that...

Even if Mr. Icke is right in most all that he says, especially the reptilians, few are going to listen. We only want the truth when it's within the boundaries we are willing to accept.
Unitl we come to a place in our lives that we don't care what the truth is, as long as it is the truth, we will remain as ignorant as ever, and those who administrate this world will continue to run roughshod over us, and play us for the fools we are.

Many joke about Jack Nicholson's line in A Few Good Men. "You can't handle the truth". It's no joke. It's a very true statement. Most of us can't, and therefore, wouldn't know the truth if we heard it.

Is he truly "waking you up"? Sure, he is bringing to light the evil in this world and it feels like being "awakensed" but only because you didn't know that it existed in the first place. But he is deception all the way round and here's why - he gives you a lot of truth and mixes it with deadly poison. He believes that a mass awakening will allow Earth to enter into a new consciousness, which is basically feeding the New Age Religion nonsense. He gives you this as the solution. Go read Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's latest UN speech and pay close attention to what he says. It's the same as Icke's "solution". Go read Freemasonry dogma and what they believe - the same. Go read the New Age dogma - it's the same. Icke's bleats on about the Problem/Reaction/Solution methodology of the "mighty men", yet steers you to their solution. He never once tells you to seek Christ Jesus as the Truth, for he knows in that instant that Jesus would heal your vision and your hearing and expose him as the deceiver that he is. You need to understand - the deception will be so great that it could nearly fool the elect. This isn't something to be taken lightly by Christian or non Christian.

I haven't got much more to add, I linked a 6 hour lecture and as I said in the OP, click at any random point in that video and take a listen, easily 90% of what Icke discusses is important and relevant.

When people just keep calling him crazy etc they're just showing what the 1991 audience did in that Wogan interview.

That video, for the record, was clearly edited. Icke has never said he is THE son of God, but rather A son of God, as he believes we all are because he believes we are all part of the same source. From the actual interview-

We/I am a son/daughter of God. In fact, we are all expressions/projections of the Infinite Conciousness, which is love, that is what I mean when I say "I am a son of god "GOD"!" ibid.

We are reflections of one another, therefore I know that you are part of me and I am part of you because we are all projections of the universal principles of creation/destruction polarities of the same infinite consciousness that we call God.

Those are the views of millions of new agers or people who believe along those lines.

So he is not saying he is the second coming of Jesus or anything like that, he is saying 'we are all' sons and daughters of God. Big difference and very telling that the main reason some of the people say they don't like him was because he called himself the 'Son of God', when that video was edited to remove the part where he explained what he meant!

It's sad that the 1991 mentality is still strong and seemingly people let it affect their opinions without even giving the man a chance.

He went to that interview in 1991 and suffed ridicule for years for doing the interview and giving up his job at the BBC, for over 20 years he has worked on exposing the NWO so he deserves credit IMO.
