I predict panic, meltdown and terror on a Y2K scale. No, honestly. I think it could really be that big.
Seriously though, folks. I don't know what is happening out there in the rest of the world, but here in the UK, this isn't even a non-event. At least a non-event has a build-up, a bit of hype, before nothing happens. This doesn't even have that. No-one in work-places, in pubs, on TV is talking about it. There are no newspaper articles about it. It has no more significance than 23rd October 2012 did. And let's face it ... why should it?
Well, I'm from the UK and can say that most people where I live are aware of 21/12/12 no matter where I bring the subject up. There's been loads of documentary's on the History channel & Nat Geo about the Mayan calender and end of world scenarios. If I bring 21/12/12 up in a conversation, 90% of the time they will either no of the date or will have seen something either on tv or on the internet. It's a pretty big deal here in the UK too.

I'm surprised that the hype in the media is not similar in the UK to what it is in the US. I mean, its not daily headline news or anything, but its been enough to grab enough attention and have millions believing there's some sort of prophecy the Mayans made related to it (which, to date, niobody has found any evidence of)
My thinking is that you combine the hype, with people's current negative, panicky feelings on things, and there's a recipe for a pretty interesting day. Psychology amd sociology alone indicate an auspicious day - No Nibiru or black hole DNA reprogramming beam necessary.

For someone as 'enlightened' as yourself you seem to very insulted by my ignorant ass.
You'd think your awareness has giving you the ability to look above such trivial things and base emotions as anger.
Maybe you require further meditation.
I was simply curious as to where you confidence in a coming changes comes from, that's all?
I was merely using self help books as an example. Maybe I should have rephrased.
My my apologies if I insulted you in any way.

I think he meant the wii u, which looks pretty bad ass, and something I'll be enjoying when (or if) the world doesn't end.

People IMHO are looking at this all the wrong way. It isn't an end but a new beginning.
Of a new day...
In entering a new age...
And we will still have bills to pay...
