What struck me the most about these four candidates was their deference to the US Constitution. This is extremely important to me. I do not claim that the Constitution is perfect, by no means. But it is the bedrock of this nation. Any candidate for president that goes against the Constitution is unfit for office in my mind. Obama permanently lost my vote when he signed the NDAA, which Rmoney also supports.

I may not agree with all of the third party candidates positions, but I do feel that all four genuinely care about this nation, it's ideals and it's citizenry.

I do not care who the media promotes. I do not care who may garner the most votes. From here on out I will only support who is best for this nation. I know I'm not alone.

It was by far the best informative debate and had the most passion that I have ever seen. These people will never be allowed to win, or even stand on the same stage with the Establishment picked pawns of red and blue.

I'm voting Gary Johnson. I don't agree with everything he said but I believe he is the best qualified out of ALL the canidates.

I loved when he spoke of wasting your vote.

IF YOU VOTE FOR OBAMA OR ROMNEY YOU ARE WASTING YOUR VOTE. 100%

to bad even if they did get the votes they would be cheated out of it. I think that we better stand up against the thugs or our childeren will never know freedom.

Besides the cluster at the beginning, it was a great debate

This debate made Obama & Romney look bought & paid representatives of the plutocracy, corporate elite serving puppets. Oh how I wish O & R could be on the stage with these third party candidates.

These questions are entirely too complex for two-minute answers.

And, Larry King is a dweeb!

perhaps so... but he is definately demented...

he introduced himself then gave the audience a verbal outline of the debate...:

there will be a 2 minute introduction by each candidate -
then there will be six questions asked each candidate.....

but Larry King then introduced the question asker ...and she began asking the outlined questons...

instead of letting the individual candidates introduce themselves..

MAJOR FAUX PAS by Larry King

5% folks!

5% of total votes is all a third party needs to have their next campaign financed and be "on par" with the 2 main parties.

Think about it.

Gary Johnson-- "A wasted vote is voting for someone you don't believe in!"
“That’s wasting your vote. I’m asking everybody here, I’m asking everybody watching this nationwide to waste your vote on me.”

That is exactly right! I hope more people understand if you truly want to make a difference, it starts with a vote. If we do not support the third parties, they will never move into the main stream. I have been a Libertarian now for a few years and I do not feel I am wasting my vote. I am supporting what I believe in and I refuse to ever again vote for "the lesser of two evils"...which in the case of the Dem and Repub candidate...good luck figuring out which is the "lesser" evil. One is creating a police nanny state and the other one has no spine, stands for nothing and will say anything to get a "position" he feels his money entitles him to.

Vote Gary Johnson!

amateurish...

im afraid they havent stolen enough money and dont have criminal backers to put them on tv every other day in primetime.

I can't for the life of me figure out why Conservatives aren't flocking in droves to Gary Johnson. Why are they allowing themselves to be swallowed whole by the Religious Right GOP?

I already knew I was voting for Johnson.

I'm not conservative, and Johnson isn't my favorite candidate, but I seriously don't get it either.

I get it that a lot of people vote along party lines regardless of candidate, but I just don't get how anyone genuinely likes Romney. The guy is a walking stereotype of everything we hate about politicians. He has the persona of a snake oil salesmen, and flip flops at a rate I've never seen before.

So many seem to have thrown up their arms and said "anyone but obama" without giving any real consideration to the other options.

If people vote on values, then Johnson seems like a much more reasonable candidate.

Even though I like Rocky Anderson more, I may strategically vote for Johnson. I think he has the best chance to send a message with a higher vote count than the other 3rd party candidates, but If Romney and Johnson flipped positions I couldn't give Romney the same strategic vote with out feeling dirty.

I just finished watching the debate...and it was great ! I also just posted to FB...lol...gotta at least try

I also will be voting for Gary Johnson, I have respect for all four indeprndant canidates, lol, even Virgil...but Gary Johnson has a real chance to make a big statement, and hope he shows strong in the polls.

It's unfortunate to hear people saying they will still write in Ron Paul, and I understand thier reasons....but Gary Johnson is an extention of the Ron Paul movement and he is actually on the ballot.

The GOP gave us the "Un-Patriot Act" and King Obama is willing to throw us in jail without charges, trial or a lawyer...how can any American still vote for them?
