Can you show me just 1 claim in those videos that is undisputably true?

That little girl's liver was protruding from her stomach.

Don't get me wrong, I don't disagree with you at all. The FSA is full of the same al-Qaeda terrorists that Obama and Clinton unleashed on Gadaffi, but Assad is no angel either. BOTH sides are to blame for the suffering in Syria. I just wish we'd stay out of it.

Our tax dollars are partially responsible for this, so the blood of these babies is on our hands too. God help us all.

Are you really that naive? Do you realize that after the western countries liberate all of these people that have been controlled by a strong leader that it will create a vacuum where religious theocratic Islamic governments take control? Have you looked at Iraq? or Libya? Or Egypt?

The long term strategic goal is to have these Islamic countries unite into a power block for war against the world to drive profits and bring about a New World Order..

I'm not naive at all. Obamanation is the one who has been supporting his Muslim Brothers in EVERY "Arab Spring" country. We haven't "liberated" snip, we've CAUSED it!

of course....as i have said in many other posts, Obama is to blame for everything bad happening in the world, according to the right. obamanation??? supports his muslim brothers???....do you know how silly you sound?
it sounds as if you didn't have world net daily or fox news, you wouldn't have heard or read any news whatsoever.

Can you deny that the Muslim Brotherhood has risen to power in every "Arab Spring" country we've "helped?" It's not silly at all, it's a fact.

And just so you don't think I'm racist, Hillary Clinton is just as guilty.

Now, as for those 2 videos, I will concurr there is evidence of mass protests against Assad if we get a translation, source and date for those videos. Thank you.

I'm sorry if I seem somewhat 'off' but you must understand that I feel as if I am being told that the sun is an orange suspended by a piece of string and that I should cite sources to prove otherwise.

Those videos were taken at the Hama rallies in July last year and there are many others. Fortunately this has been discussed before on ATS and I can save myself an awful lot of work by pulling up an old post of mine:

You can see the buildings where both pictures were taken from in this picture as well as the other side of the large white building in the first picture and the row of trees in front of it. In those two new pictures you can clearly see the Hama Clocktower.

The pictures were taken at these positions as marked in red, green and yellow on a screenshot of a satellite photograph of Hama, Syria.

Here is a video taken in Hama from the top of the same building as this picture where you can clearly see the Hama Clocktower, Syrian flags and as an added bonus, the man holding the camera tells you that he is in Hama.

After following that I'm sure that you wouldn't dispute at least where the pictures/videos were taken. The old Syrian flag, now the official symbol of the Syrian political/paramilitary opposition, is present in the linked media. It is especially visible in the photo above marked "red" in which there are over a dozen such flags, a couple of which are extremely large. If you are incredibly bored I could find you a very high res copy of that photo and you could find them all.

In the video at the bottom of the quote, one of these large opposition flags comes into view ~14 seconds top left and yet another even larger opposition flag attached to the wall ~32 seconds top left. You will perhaps also recognise the phrase chanted by the crowd but I could pull that up from somewhere if you don't.

As for the "90% of Syrian rebels aren't Syrian" thing, would I be correct in assuming that you picked this up from an RT video? I ask because that particular report was comprehensively 'debunked' on this website. Its source was the German language service of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting and it cited a Die Welt article which never existed.

Of course, me guessing (whether correct or not) where you had picked it up from is pretty academic because there isn't a single reputable source out there which puts the demographics of even the most radical of the major Syrian Islamist groups at lower than 50% Syrian. I have read a few excellent studies in PDF which put the demographics of groups such as JN/AS/FI et c at about 30% foreign at most and if you like I shall direct you to them when I am using my own computer.

Thank you for a thorough reply. I concurr. I failed to see these protests as they happened. I read about people going around Syria offering money to people to go protest, and threatening those who wouldnt, so I disregarded it later.

As for the percentages, I did go overboard with the 90%, but I think we can both agree they are not a homogenic Syrian movement but in good part foreign mercs, EU, Saudi, Bahrein spec ops personel etc. mixed with any Syrians willing to fight for a few hundred $ per month.

Other ponts in my first reply still stand, though, I would say.

This is such bull#. In the first seconds of one the videos you see terrorists throwing explosives into a building! How do you know there weren't children in that building? You think he went to check?

Recap of what we DIDN'T see:

- no syrian army on vide doing anything
- no airplanes filmed
- not even mortar shells shown
- no tanks

What we DID see:
- childern hurt in hospitals
- people claiming "the syrian army did this"! How does the doctor know how the child got hurt?
- a muslim extremist ("he even kills muslims!" wtf!? its okay to kill if youre not a muslim? I guess the alawites in Syria realy have a reason to fear his side of the conflict)
- people shooting randomly
- a doctor claiming the state army kills children. Realy? I kinda doubt the FSA would ever let anyone send children to Damascus for treatment and thus create strong anti-propaganda for them. I am also certain Assad would do his utmost best to help treat those children and use that as a propaganda item.

- two big fat lies a the beggining of the first video:
1. There is no evidence (that I have seen or even heard of) that there were unarmed protests against Assad, and/or that the army forces shot them. There is evidence of that in Bahrein fyi, but you won't see american produced videos about that, at least since CNN censored its own sponsored documentary, ha!

2. The FSA terrorists are 90% foreign nationality, not syrian, and are not even close to being defectors from the regular army.

Big fat, disguisting propaganda!
Can you show me just 1 claim in those videos that is undisputably true?

At 2:18 into the video, the child with "guts and liver" lying on top of her body turns her head!
Doctors says he doesn't know what happened.

Now if that isn't the fakest footage I have seen in a long time.
This looks like a propaganda film using children with alleged wounds allegedly by the Assad regime.

They jumped the shark a bit there. Otherwise, it appeared to be a poorly edited film as well as unskilled
movie guts and bad acting to incite the West.
This is obvious about who the intended audience is here as it is done in English.
If it were to incite their fellow countrymen, it would be done in the native language.
Even they might not be so easily taken in about who is doing what in their country.

I looked at the trailer and noticed a few problems with it.

At 0:16 an Islamist bearded fighter, you would think that fighter actually cares about freedom, democracy? think again.

0:08 using civilian houses and buildings as human shield.

I cant believe people are still buying into the propaganda that the Free Sryian Army are the GOOD GUYS yeah where i have heard those two words before?

From the YouTube top comments usual posted by the Trolls on YouTube.

assad will be killed in the middle of damascus. no mercy for the baby killer

Some guy talks for a few seconds about how Assad is a murderer and you call it "pro-western bull#"? How could you be so closed minded? It just goes to show how little evidence your type needs to reinforce their delusions.

The Assad government is truly despicable. Something needs to be done about this horrible civil war. This is much worse than the stuff that happened in Libya, Egypt or Tunisia. Torture and killings happen a lot more in Syria than they ever did in Libya.

The FSA terrorists are killing christians because the Syrian christians support Assad. If Assad gets ousted (and he eventually will, par for the course a la Muslim Brotherhood), it'll be one more territory in their hands as they carve out the islamic rendition of the U.S. , their new Caliphate. Assad has allowed christians to build and even maintain churches in Syria which goes against Sharia law and that's why the FSA wants him out. Assad isn't jihading. He is also Shiite which is against the extremist Muslim Brotherhood led Sunni's.

Now it is sad that children end up collateral damage but that's what happens in war, the children suffer and pay for it the most and a civil war is even worse because it's brother against brother and that also happened right here in the U.S. so we should damn sure not be getting involved in this because the memory of our own civil war should not be forgotten, nor the loss and the pain it caused ontop of the deathtoll.
