RED ALERT: FUKUSHIMA SPENT FUEL POOLS EXPLODED, ON FIRE NOW, RADIATION LEVELS SPIKING MASSIVELY
Posted by jeffrey goober wefferson on October 22, 2012 at 16:30View Blog
WARNING! This is the worst-case scenario unfolding at Fukushima. According to Michael Eckstein, a researcher who lives only 50 miles from Fukushima, explosions and fires have occurred at spent fuel pools two and four over the past four days and now radiation levels are spiking enormously. THIS IS THE WORST-CASE SCENARIO BECAUSE OF THE THOUSANDS OF TONS OF PLUTONIUM CONTAINED IN THESE SPENT FUEL POOLS. This is now vapourizing into the atmosphere and being disseminated with the winds. Major cloud and radiation spike estimated to hit west coast of USA in two weeks or less.

THIS IS EXTREMELY SERIOUS.
"The Govt is willing to pay $5000 for 15min work,,,but no one has come forward. i can see the steam coming over the mountain here as im writing. I'm going to do a Live interview with CNN at 3pm my time, its 11:38am right now Monday morning. You should see it when you wake up. I am going to tell the truth like before. I want to give you the chance we and our children never got.

CAN ANYONE VERIFY IF THIS IS ACTUALLY OCCURING? I WOKE UP TO ABOUT 40 DIFFERENT ALERTS ABOUT THIS IN MY FACEBOOK & TWITTER ACCOUNTS, BUT THUS FAR ALL OF THEM SEEM TO REFERENCING THE SAME ORIGINAL BLOG POSTING. LOOKING FOR 1-2 ADDITIONAL INDEPENDENT SOURCES. NOT INTERESTED IN 10 MORE RE-BLOGS OF THE SAME INFO. HAS ANYBODY GOT ANYTHING???

I don't believe it. Someone contact Ben Fulford and this is what he put:

If Fulford is calling BS on you, that means you got a really, really, really, bad source.

Cool...thanks.

If there is any truth to any of this and/or if the situation is REALLY as dire as early reports indicate this could very well be a TSHTF moment for the whole planet. Theoretically speaking, a complete a total Fukushima failure/meltdown could release up to 10,000X the radiation that Chernobyl did.

That doesn't necessarily mean that it WILL release that much...that's just the ultimate worst case scenario in a complete uncontrolled meltdown w/ multiple explosions. Time to get the f^ck off the West Coast if this is accurate.

ETA: I think this is indeed a report of the original explosion. Never mind...

Looks like the real deal:

Japan confirms explosion, leakage at nuke plant

FUKUSHIMA, Japan (Reuters)

Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano confirmed on Saturday there has been an explosion and radiation leakage at Tokyo Electric Power Co's (TEPCO) (9501.T) Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.

"We are looking into the cause and the situation and we'll make that public when we have further information," Edano said.

"At present, we think 10 km evacuation is appropriate."

Japan earlier in the day warned of a meltdown at a reactor at the plant, damaged when a massive earthquake and tsunami struck the northeast coast, but said the risk of radiation contamination was small.

Edano also said that Japan has expanded the evacuation area around the Fukushima Daini nuclear plant. (Reporting by Kiyoshi Takenaka; Editing by Joseph Radford)

Although, I'm confused by the Saturday reference. Could it have really gone unreported for more than a full day?

I thought so too, but it's dated today.

Did the original explosion happen on a Saturday?

Clearly, this isn't substantiated yet. That's why I plainly and loudly cited that I was looking into the overall validity of these early rumors/reports about 6 different ways in my original post.

However...with all due respect, I don't really take much of anything that Benjamin Fulford says seriously either. Not to mention the fact that in your link Fulford is simply being dismissive out of hand and quite literally citing that we "should just trust him" and being "evidence" enough.

Can anybody find any sort of REAL link about this? Perhaps a credible post from a japanese site? A credible reporter who is not 100% bought and paid for by multinational corporations? Anybody have friends or family over that way who can confirm or deny who DON'T make a living in the blogosphere? Etc.

Looking more closely, I think you are right.

It's a good sign we can't find confirmation. It likely means it's not true.

Not a good way to start the day, but I'll take it.

looks like it may be "not news"..

the link provided is being picked up by other sites and beinf reported from that source..
Even some on GLP are calling BS on this one..

I hope that jumping to conclusions wont result in a lack of proper research..

There's really not much to go on at the moment.
