If I had to venture a guess I'd say these are still images from Roland Emmerich's 2012 turned black and white. Another website has some of the chinese translated and it speaks of arks having been built in order to save humanity and that as many of you know is the main plot line of the movie 2012. I don't have a copy of the film and most of the pictures online are publicity shots.

If there was a video, i would say that it is most probably CGI. If there was never a video, then i would say Photoshop.

Why would they make a black and white video in 2012 ? Is it for special effects, well it's not really working unless they were claiming that they are coming from the past where only black and white video was available. I wouldn't even know how to make a black and white video.

Also, when did we invent traveling back in time ? Everyone seems to accept the fact the traveling back in time is normal, like getting on the plane and going on vacation.

Its interesting. I dont believe any of this but for some reason I still cant shake the eerie feeling of this thread/the pictures.

Looks like leaked footage from Iraq to me. The dates have been changed to protect the guilty. Case closed.

Really? Really? REALLY???? Maybe the camera broke. Maybe it was a different darkness. Maybe it could be many factors in why it is black and white. Sounds to me like you are afraid of dying because you have things to worry about. Unless there is proof of a hoax...not a hoax.

I am not believing this crap, but this is what I found out so far:

The video was uploaded by a swedish guy back in 2007 - his name is apparently "Berzillius", yet he was reportedly being killed and the video was banned.

A google result on "Berzilius" and "swedish" spits out this little Wiki entry:

Back to a link provided earlier in the post, I came across the original blog post of the guy posting the pictures, where he states that the "video was first posted in the supernatural backgarden" (google translate) - I have no clue what he is referring to.

A few answers later some anonymous poster states "Certain information I accumulated more than one video, is basically in 2007. Was just from 2012 as well as five years."

Then a lot of questions being raise about the video, when someone left an email adress "[email protected]" with no further comment.

I go back ... I see some "embedded" code that doesn't seem to work. Yet it points to a website (fliiby.com...), and there is a file id too. I search for the file id on the website (782642) -- bingo!

Yet after a few seconds watching it it becomes clear that this is some kind of bad cgi compilation, and not the footage those still caps come from.

Okay, back to the thread. Let's try this gore site someone was talking about. After translating it I soon understand that this is the "supernatural garden" some poster from the blog was talking about. Link - WARNING - disturbing images!

So, the search for this video begins, which is not a very pleasant thing to do during the fact that this is a site showing .. pictures I really dont wanna see.

Okay, after 20 minutes i finally managed to find the thread, and there is a vid attached to it, it seems legit in terms of file-size. I am currently trying to download it.

This is getting creepy. Anyway, so there are people in the chinese web posting those pics referring to the video, and then you have this boom of QQ submissions - people are really crazy about this. Yet i didn't find any part of the video yet.

Okay I give up. Chinese people everywhere (in forums) are stating that the caps are from the movie "super volcano". I have no idea if this is true, but I guess it sounds more realistic to me.

Anyway, if someone wants to continue, open baidu.com, type in 未来人视频的部分截图了 2012 and start looking for answers (using chrome with automatic english translation)

Actually there is a strange thing. Chinas search engine Baidu is full with results over people asking for that vid, pictures (caps) and so on. Yet when i try google, there is simply not even one reference - not even this thread when you search for the video name. This is odd, given the fact that this story is almost 5 years old - no google entry with all those chinese forums talking about it? Google indexes chinese websites too, so why didn't it pick up this story?

Seems like an attempt to take a real event and make a mockery of it if it does not occur on its 'selected' date.

Just like Harold Camping's predictions purposefully given so much media attention in attempts to paint the Rapture (a legitimate event) as a fringe lunatic 'laughing stock' topic against the faithful.

But I wonder why a woman like this, who really did travel the globe and speak one-on-one with the likes of Muammar Gaddafi, and other world leaders, would say such a thing?

Chinese whispers anyone? Some poorly made 3D max scenes with a sprinkle of screen grabs of pyroclastic flows.

I assume there's no video because the so called 'screen grabs' are indication of quickly made graphics, no-one could actually make a realistic looking video so its presented as "being hidden away by the governments."

I'd hope it's just a promo (albeit it a TV-movie effects type one [ie poor]) cos if it's really legitimately posted with belief, then it's a horrible type of disinformation to spew out. Basically "spam".

Yeah, me too. I hope it's a fake... these pics make me feel... sick, but not in the physical term of it. I am a scientific, and I rarely feel anything watching a pic. But this one is different, maybe it's the angle, maybe it's because its images are familiar... I don't know.

Look like NYC on 9/11/2001 in the original photos. I remember.

Okay here's the recap of my 3 hour investigation into this:

- pictures of the video first appear in china
- people get crazy and want to see the video
- people say they have the video, but every link they gave is dead
- people start using a site like yahoo answers to search for people who can directly send them the video
- after several months a lot of questions appear about the password to extract the video from the archive
- everybody in china is crazy about this video, yet no one has actually seen it
- people are somehow making money out of collecting all those QQ id's the users leave, to get the video.

until now, everything smells like a big BS story

But there is this little detail - it's not on google - no where. The story is almost 3 years old (first entries in 2010), and normally goolge indexes chinese sites, especially if those combination of words (e.g. the name of the video) are leading to so many chinese search results.

Other then that, I am 99% sure that this is a rumor, used perfectly by someone to collect QQ id's for god knows what. Yet I am still trying to get a link to the footage, yet it seems that there really isn't any.

Why did the government delete and block the video if it isn't real? They don't waste their resources on stuff that can be proven as hoaxes.
