Dang, and I thought I was gonna see like a literal recording of god talking. That would be far too simple, such empirical evidence would be cheating wouldn't it? Seems you have to believe in God for him to exist, convenient.

The reason I get kinda upset with this topic is because people always give god credit for things I did on my own.

Like the other day my mom said: "You should be using the brain god gave you". This really upset me because it wasn't god who gave me my intelligence. It was the good job my parents did on raising me and the choices I made on what information to absorb.

So I said: "How dare you give an imaginary being credit for my intelligence, I am your son, I am real, I am right here, and you can see me." I just cant stand people not taking responsibility for their own actions, whether they be good or bad.

To all:
Everyone has a right to their opinions. If the OP has said something to offend, then alert him of such in a polite manner. Do not attack or tear at him. Instead, debate his argument or simply say "I respectfully disagree"

To the OP: I agree, God is always speaking. To everything else in your post, I mostly disagree. God speaking is God reminding us that we are infinite, that we are all, that we are one, and that we are God.
No separation, only unity.
The same to all.

Have a wonderful evening.

People can indeed take responsibility for them self and believe in God at the same time.

People can even think on their own and believe in God.

LOTS of people in the world and each with their own opinion based on experience and educating them self, and guess what, each of us see beauty in creation and if we don't we are dead inside.

Some people... like the OP can SEE more because he can.

Cool video. If the solar system does indeed move in a spiral like that, we would one day see a drastic paradigm shift. Most astronomers seem to agree that the planets orbit along the same plane, the ecliptic.

I never said they couldn't, I simply said that its a common thing for people to dump their responsibility on god.

Also are you speaking of the christian god? Or are you talking about god as in the collective consciousness of human beings? If its the second one then I guess I believe in god, and we are in agreement.

I also believe in a gaia-like force, or a spirit of the planet. Im the kinda person that see's the bible as an astro-theological literary hybrid. So its not complete bull.

Hi EWR,

The only thing the bible proves is that there was no television back in the day when this particular creation story was passed around. People back then had to invent stories to alleviate boredom, so they became very good at story telling.

As far as anything mirroring the stories in the bible, well the bible has so many stories that we could connect EVERYTHING to it.

If you were to write a similar fantasy you would also come up with a god and a creation event. You would add lots of sex, murder, betrayal, war, kings, prophets, miracles, believers and disbelievers, sins, heroes and villains. The bible is not a perfect book; it is a BIG book!

As for collapsing wave functions, I'm still not sold on the idea of WHY it happens. If a wave reduces itself into a particle because someone just looks at it, is it because of that someone's consciousness? Then if a blind man tries to measure it, would a wave still collapse? I don't think so. If a non-conscious camera collapses a wave into a particle, then consciousness has nothing at all to do with this process and it's all about lenses (be it human eyes or a camera lens). Why? I have NO idea.

It shows that the ancients felt the need to pass information on to their descendants. Every myth contains some degree of truth.

I didn't really understand it but I sense you're onto something. I'm going to read it again when I'm in a more focused mood. One thing I think is that we can't be greater than our source and if we're conscious it has to be conscious. It's pretty obvious.

It's like a river flowing. The river leaves the unity of the upper pool, evaporates from the light, then returns to earth as a multiplicity of dew droplets. Compare what I just said to what Isaiah says here:

Isaiah 26

19 But your dead will live, Lord;
their bodies will rise—
let those who dwell in the dust
wake up and shout for joy—
your dew is like the dew of the morning;
the earth will give birth to her dead.

Compare this to Jesus words, "you must be born again." Consider what this means when realizing the root meaning of baptism in the water (Immersion of the soul into hydrogen and oxygen). Also, compare the chamber below to the chamber (Tent / Canopy) mentioned in Psalm 19 for the Sun in relation to life on Earth. Amazing!

20 Go, my people, enter your rooms
and shut the doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until his wrath has passed by.
21 See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling
to punish the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood shed on it;
the earth will conceal its slain no longer.

From this, I think Isaiah is speaking of the Day of the Lord when evil is removed from the Earth. The righteous await a day when they are raised to new life on a healed earth. Unity to multiplicity and then back again.

You are the one who is guilty of being self centered. A true person of God knows that God created the universe for his own reasons. Not something as relatively insignificant as any one person. We actually are less self centered, for we can accept that God has a greater purpose than ours.

You are looking at the answer. When you clicked on this post from me in the past (Check the time stamp), I already knew what it said and that you would collapse the memory location from ATS and its server. I had faith that when I hit reply, the text would be saved as information (Word). The computer is the ideal metaphor for collapsing wave function. Forget that you don't see the processes that make it a reality. You are only viewing the image that is produced. In reality, many wave functions (Wifi for one) are involved with the process.

When we speak of God's wave function, this verse tells you all you need to know.

1 Colossians 1:

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

What is dark energy..? if god is light and you can see his spiral signature everywhere.. how do you explain dark energy and the time/space warp?( is that how one day to god is 1000 years to us? i do not dismiss your theory.. however there is much left of the universe to be explained that a simple spiral pattern that is of god and "the light"

I'm new so i don't know how to post videos .. well see if this works

Although I am not sure, I believe that the answer may be found in what is suggested by Paul Dirac's relativistic quantum mechanical wave equation. Our universe is parallel to another universe in opposite. Our matter is anti-matter to this mirrored universe. The event horizon between these two universes represents the projection point of both.

From the Bible, we see this:

Genesis 1:4

God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

Carefully consider what was stated before this verse:

Genesis 1:1-3

In the Beginning (Time), God created the heavens (Space) and the earth (Matter). Let there be light (Energy).

I have simply added what is suggested by the symbolism. We also have the void to consider and the waters which were devoid of light before light was engaged. As science states clearly, dark matter cannot be observed, yet is comprises most of our universe.

Hebrews 11

11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.

3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

You may miss something in this last set of verses that may not be obvious. I covered faith and our ability to collapse wave function from indeterminate to determinate in this thread: Saved by the Fifth Dimension

How can we collapse a wave if we are not aware we can? Belief and faith allow us to do what we hope can be done. Before I wrote my first book, it was not a reality. It became a material object once my faith allow me to translate conception to reality. This is how faith works. Something from nothing.

I like your username. God's purpose is tied to the will he demonstrates by example. God's will is to give and receive. Taking is for thieves. That grand purpose is to show us this simple truth. Love can only give and receive. The law is fulfilled by love and the thief becomes a thief no more.

I was speaking on behalf of the second.... and I too am right with you. Its not bull (Bible).... its just not "taught" correctly and for this reason I believe in self teaching.

Have you ever listed to any of Santos Bonacci's lectures? Astro-theology is right up my alley and he gives lectures that make a lot of sense... ties in some puzzle pieces, if you will.

Interesting.. since by your name i'm going to assume you recognize the book of enoch, are you familiar with the scriptures from naj hammadi? Specifically the one where christ is teaching his disciples the mysteries and the way to get through the 9 different levels (demensions?).. i've often wondered if these where "other universes" it's an interesting side topic.. lol

The background 'noise' is silence.
And the truth is hidden in plain sight. It is hidden in the act of seeing.

All seeing, all knowing and everpresent.

The silence is aware.

Describe the source of consciousness as related to collapsing wave function and describe how matter produced consciousness.

Matter didn't produce consciousness...consciousness produced matter. Scientists have proven that matter coalesces under observation, and technically doesn't exist unless we're actively observing it.

The video is misrepresenting geometry -- yes, the planets are revolving around the sun. Orbits are influenced by everything else (even in a nearly infinitesimal amount) but ultimately, it's a relationship between mass and distance. So, while it is true that the sun is moving within the galaxy (and, unstated in the video, the galaxy is also moving) the resulting Earth orbit is not some crazy out-of-control spiral, because the orbit is relative to the sun, and that remains elliptical.

Eventually, it is likely that some other object with upset the delicate balance that keeps the Earth's orbit stable, but, again, mass and distance dictate that it will be something like another star, not just the progression of the solar system, galaxy or planet in space.

Yeah it is an interesting video. Kinda makes one wonder what all the galaxies are spiraling around in the center of the universe. Be very interesting to find out what is in the center of the universe.
