Do you have a link to your external quote?

I thank-you for your service (somehow I knew that would be included in your response), I feel passionately about vets, however that doesn't automatically equal genuine outrage.

You feel “passionate about vets” yet 2 vets died in Libya and your outrage is directed at Issa who exposed the names of some Libyan civilians working with the embassy that you fear for?

Show me a post with your outrage over the Americans killed or your criticism about the way this was handled by this administration.

I remain doubtful that you weren't happy about how bad this could make Obama look. I have a feeling this is going to backfire all over the GOP, as it should.

I wouldn’t trade lives for political gain…thank you!

This will backfire on Obama on Monday night!

Actually, it already has!

As most surveys show Obama and Romney locked in a virtual dead heat, Gallup finds that the Republican would win by a comfortable six percentage points if the election were held today.

With a record of correctly predicting all but three of the 19 presidential races stretching back to 1936, Gallup is one of the most prestigious names in the business and its outlier status has other polling experts scratching their heads.

So it is OK for wikileaks and bradly manning to leak information while putting Americans lives at risk, but if the leaks are showing someone
they backs true colors it is a big no no>??

This sheds light on how incompetent this presidential admin. has been..

They had the information asking for more reinforcements in benghazi but they ignored it
as a result we have our ambassador and his men killed..

It is hypocritical for ANYONE who supports wikileaks to come out and be against other document leaks.

They can not be trusted flip floppers.

Yeah, the external quote is from a link in my OP, I guess you didn't read the letters. I'm secure in my patriotism and don't feel the need to prove anything, especially to you. You and your ilk think anyone not hanging off the Right cliff are unpatriotic.

I really appreciate Issa releasing this, personally. Did you read it? I just did and it has a lot in there I hadn't been aware of. I was mad before....I'm furious now. They staked those people out like goats and then acted shocked when they were slaughtered like some.

The list of outright terrorist attacks, but with HIGH power weapons was stunning and it goes on and on. One of the more recent with an unknown position shooting up a Libyan Government Helicopters carrying polling supplies...of a ll things...right there in Benghazi speaks volumes. I mean, I guess it's such a free for all, it's okay to just take a few shots with a 14mm AA gun because the chopper happens to be flying over and what the hell?

I especially like the part about 1/3rd through where Issa highlights the fact the State Department was steadily raising 'Danger Pay' given to those in Benghazi and Tripoli at the SAME time the Security was being cut and more being denied. Umm... Split Personality? Yikes!! It's a dangerous place to be working for the State Department. How horrible to just leave them hanging though. Unforgivable and that letter spells it right out. Places, dates, times and the chapter with verse.

Thanks for bringing all that to light. I may not have caught it all otherwise. ....and if there wasn't a law against the names being in the public domain, then I find the situation of hearing Issa condemned by the people who hold Bradley Manning up as some kinda of warped folk hero to be setting world records for hypocrisy. ..and then some.

Nice to see that you read how most of what Issa said and cited was false or misleading.
I'm glad you think it's okay for our government to name US allies and make them targets for terrorists.

I read this news report several days ago. And it outlines that there have been increasing security worries in Libya for many months! And on the same exact day as the attack, Stevens sent a memo! There is much more. Please read it to understand that Stevens was truely worried! But Obama was too busy saving money to pay for Obamacare. And of course he needed his precious time to gather votes for the election.

Documents show Stevens worried about Libya security threats, Al Qaeda before consulate attack

On Sept. 11 -- the day Stevens and three other Americans were killed -- the ambassador signed a three-page cable, labeled "sensitive," in which he noted "growing problems with security" in Benghazi and "growing frustration" on the part of local residents with Libyan police and security forces. These forces the ambassador characterized as "too weak to keep the country secure."

Scarcely more than two months had passed since Stevens had notified the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and other agencies about a "recent increase in violent incidents," including "attacks against western interests." "Until the GOL (Government of Libya) is able to effectively deal with these key issues," Stevens wrote on June 25, "the violence is likely to continue and worsen."

Wow... attacking truth, as unfortunate as the truth is in this instance, and try and flip this to politics?

The current Administration.. should have been "front and center" in discussing the assassination of a US diplomat..

They failed.. and now we have folks attacking the truth?

Why? Politics maybe?

:shk:

Issa is the colossal scumbag that said poor people need to shut up because the rich let then play the lottery. This guy is in his own category when it comes to being the scum of the world.

Well, I guess I need some help with highlighting of what is provably misleading or false. The list of dated and timed terrorist attacks all around this open and almost undefended compound? This wasn't some scary looking, fortified mansion like one may imagine a U.S. Consulate would be. This is more like Uncle Goobers Hunting house out in the country. Wide open grounds and 400 long air miles to the nearest help in Tripoli for anything with serious force and punch.

I don't know about all the little details, but I don't have to feel confident in every one of them for the overall picture of what happened to be infuriating.

It's NOT politics and the State Department doesn't entirely flip every Presidency. It's Obama's fault by virtue of sitting at the desk the Buck comes to stop at....BUT....The fundamental problems that caused this, in my opinion, existed at State before Obama came and before the last one too. They'll be there after Obama leaves. This should be a call to action in getting something done about State looking at the world as they FIND it...not as they really really really wish it could be because knowing Kumbaya in 50 languages is just part of what the State Department does.

They need those rosey red glasses ripped off their faces to realize...they are there to make friends but NOT automatically ASSUME everyone already IS ONE. Good men died for it this time.

It's not as bad as Obama calling the Hollywood people to the White House for a private briefing of the OBL raid by the SEALs just days after it happened and giving them information that should never have been released. Libya-shmibya....Obama sold our special forces out and put their lives endanger and made them have to completely reinvent their tactics because he divulged them for the sake of getting a promotional movie out before election day.

Now...who is more treacherous? Treacherous...as in traitor...as in high crimes and misdemeanors. As in a walking lip-smacking threat to national security.

Excuse me....do you have a non-gagging reason other than political for what Obama did in releasing highly sensitive/secret information that protects our special forces in order to ensure a movie was made about the OBL raid?

Was it because he was lonely and just needed someone to talk to and doesn't have any friends other than Hollywood producers and directors? Is that the other alternative here?

YES, it was blatantly for political reasons. Just like his very very ill-thought speech in which he stated way more than he should have.

He may prove to be your best friend in exposing the corrupt Obama regime. Did you see my post mentioning how Issa is involved in exposing Obamas medicare scandal? Isaa is also involved in the Unemplyment numbers scandal. It appears that the entire state of California was left out. With its 10.6% unemployment. The Obama regime has good cause to be going after Isaa. So I would not be surprised to see this as yet a third scandal.

Whoops! Edited to add that I should have said 4th scandal. Since Isaa is also exposing Obamas "do nothing" and "say nothing", approach to Libya.

Even after all these days, I am still pissed at how this Administration failed to protect their own, for the sake of an Election.

There's 28 Federal Prisons, that house Women. Hillary can pick one.
Obama can sit in Leavenworth, for this and Fast and Furious.

I won't go that far... the populous is to blame for allowing the current administration for getting away with these deals..

I would much rather the folks wake up.. than move these people to prison..

I think this is more a reflection on us than them...

We need to wake up... left, center or right.. this can't go on...

Me too.. stopped drinking it years ago.. welcome to the club..

reality isn't as sweet, but it's something folks have to deal with once they break free of the forces handing out cups of the drink....

agree to disagree on this one...

I'm still planning on voting for Johnson, but the GOP is making it very, very difficult to stay that course. I see now how groups such as the Taliban get into power. Pure brain washing. I know what Obama has done wrong, what he's done to lose my vote... none of it is this conspiracy crap that the GOP is vomiting down everyone's throat. I'm absolutely terrified of these freaks.
