I have been reading the ATS forums for a few weeks now, and decided to go ahead and register. Though I would most likely be deemed a skeptic in terms of many of the theories I have read on here (or, perhaps, anti-skeptic in terms of some of the conspiracies), the forum has definitely made me think about what I believe and why.

Hi Koros, and welcome to the Introductions Forum, a place to say hello to the ATS community. For now you can reply to any thread in any member forum you wish, as well as send & receive (PM's) Private Messages to Staff only for now.

Once you have achieved 20 posts, you will then be able to start your own threads in the appropriate forums and additionally send & receive messages to and from fellow ATS members.

As for topics I'm interested in...I have a wide variety of interests, ranging from politics and religion to Aliens/UFOs and secret societies. So, given that, I'm sure I'll find plenty of things to talk about here.

And, thank you, by the way! I'm a member of a few other forums out in the intertubes as well, and I'm notorious for changing my avatar on a whim. Sometimes I'll stick with one for a few weeks, sometimes I'll change it a few times a day. I like making new ones and seem to have avatar ADD.

I see you've already gotten your feet wet in a few threads, I'm glad to see you taking a proactive aproach to posting.

Too many new members get intimidated and end up not saying much for a while.

In any case, I hope you find what you are looking for, seems to me you'll fit right in.

I do have to admit a bit of jealousy regarding your avatar though, it's quite beautiful.

It has been quite a warm welcome, and I'm happy to be here. As I mentioned to someone else, I have no qualms about jumping right in to debates and discussions, sharing my points of view or holding people accountable to theirs. To me, debate is a full-contact sport and a necessity of life. If you aren't challenged on your belief, held accountable for what you think and why, then what is the point of sharing it?

Oh, and thanks for the compliment on the avatar! I'm sure you'll see PLENTY of them from me, as I tend to change them at a moment's notice.

You forgot to mention in your introduction that your purpose was to be a political troll.

Anyway you have plenty of company, so enjoy your stay while it lasts.

And, yes, I do try to be honest. I look at the evidence and go from there. If someone can change my mind and make me a believer about a topic on which I am currently a skeptic, I'm all for that. I'll always take a look at evidence someone has.
