I'm watching it live on the Discovery News Channel. We're about 90 miles east of Roswell, I was hoping to maybe see a bright dot in the sky, but no such luck, it's too small.

However, we're rooting for him and hoping that he has a safe landing.

How is he going to decelerate going at mach 1 ????

I am still seeing it. 10 minutes ago he did say that the helm was not heating properly , it is -60 degrees outside

That was pretty amazing.
He landed on is feet!!

It sounded to me that during the jump he said that he almost passed out but it was very hard to understand him. Then he stated that his visor was fogging up.
The part i find amazing is that he was clearly spinning out of control and then managed to stabilize his decent.
