NEW YORK – As a student at Harvard Law School, then-bachelor Barack Obama’s practice of wearing a gold band on his wedding-ring finger puzzled his colleagues.

Now, newly published photographs of Obama from the 1980s show that the ring Obama wore on his wedding-ring finger as an unmarried student is the same ring Michelle Robinson put on his finger at the couple’s wedding ceremony in 1992.

Moreover, according to Arabic-language and Islamic experts, the ring Obama has been wearing for more than 30 years is adorned with the first part of the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada: “There is no God except Allah.”

But here we have pictures. I'm curious if anyone can confirm the script?

Personally, I don't care if Obama is truly a Muslim. But it is interesting to me that if true I wonder how lying about it is interpreted by other Muslims?

I was going to make this thread myself, but I couldn't find a reputable source, so I resisted.

Even if this is actually true, the general public isn't going to care unless the MSM parades it 24/7. It's funny how the candidates always ignore the major issues about each other and go after silly things like Big Bird.

I think Muslims are okay with other Muslims lying, if they are lying to infidels.

Now I'm not so sure. When you trace the religion of Islam back to its inception, you find that it is simply a repackaged form of moon worship from Mystery Babylon. Atheism and lack of religion looks great on paper, but in reality it really doesn't entitle you to greater morality than anyone else. Trust is not about religion, it's about being true to your word, and bottom line is Obama has not been truthful but manipulative...

I don't know the first thing about Arabic, but to me it doesn't match. I believe the term is pareidolia. But I would be interested to see if any native Arabic speakers/writers see it immediately or not.

ok....this first one says "Allah Akbar"..god is the greatest
its written/read from right to left
the letter that looks like a "I" is A...the bacwards "L" is an L.....lol...etc



...now this next image is what they claim is written on the ring
"La ilah il allah".....no god but allah

then..."mohammed rasul allah"..mohammed is the prohpet of god



the first half of this they claim is on the ring...NO IT ISNT

Even considering the source...it's quite an interesting article. The thing I wonder about is. Why did Obama chose that particular ring to use as his wedding ring in his marriage to Michell. Most couples choose a wedding set that is more matching in nature. It's obvious that particular ring has a very deep and special meaning to him.

Yeah, confirmed there is no script. This should be in the HOAX folder.

لا إله إلا الله

That is "There is no God but Allah" ("lā ʾilāha ʾillà l-Lāh")

Only the last bit (first two characters above, which are supposedly on top of each other) partially seems to resemble what's on the ring, the rest doesn't.

As it apparently appears on the ring:

لا إله

إلا الله

Personal verdict: NOPE.
