Why the lies? Why the lies from the State Department, Susan Rice, the White House?
Did they think that they could cover for the terrorists?
I don't understand.
What I do know is that this is huge. A cover-up attempt by our government to avoid contreversy about an attack where 4 died.
Insane.

Insane huh?
I am really sickened by the Obama haters! Where were you when Bush was killing millions? Anybody?
Got awfully quiet in here all of a sudden!
I don't give one rip about this newest twist. I think everyone knows, or at least SHOULD KNOW, we are lied to on a daily basis about everything.
This will become the big reason why everyone should vote for Romney! I call BS. Romney is no better and in fact, much worse yet these people jump on the partisan bandwagon and root for "Their Guy" as if this is a popularity contest. It sickens me!
There is a 3rd candidate. If any of these Romney supporters say their vote would be wasted by voting for Johnson they are FOS. They are just partisan popularity contest players.
This is no game. Our government is playing games all over the world causing untold horrors and we are bickering about BS. This is just another example of the lies we are fed daily and yet people think Romney will be the answer? Come on.

I'm not familiar enough with this situation --
I think you should stop after this statement.
It appears all you want to do is defend 0bama and pretend that the Govt didn't really know what was happening.
(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Lindsey Graham (R.-S.C.), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said on CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday that the U.S. intelligence community in Libya informed the administration in Washington, D.C., within 24 hours of the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya that the attack had been a terrorist strike whose perpetrators included militia associated with al Qaeda.
Graham said the fact that the administration was still publicly declaring more than five days later that the attack may have arisen as a spontaneous protest indicated that either "they are misleading or incredibly incompetent."
"Well, the facts are there was never a riot," Graham told Bob Schieffer of CBS News. "The night in question, September 11, Ambassador [Chris] Stevens was being visited by the Turkish ambassador. There wasn't a soul around the compound. And the coordinated attack lasted for hours with al Qaeda-associated militia............

Axelrod Hammered Over Obama Campaign Trying To Claim Libya Only Issue Because Of Romney
There are things we can dislike the President for doing -- but I keep hearing the "muslim", "socialist", or "Kenyan" thing from the people who are preoccupied. Focusing on this stupid stuff that is very, very peripheral to the White House won't get you any traction. It's almost as big a waste of time as me trying to rebut people who don't have a clue, but a lot of suspicions ... which is my cue to ignore this thread like most of these Anti-Obama threads turn out to be.
The Department of State is pushing back against top White House aides who have tried to blame it for not doing enough to defend the Benghazi, Libya, facilities prior to the Sept. 11 jihad attack.
On Friday, the department released an Oct. 9 background press briefing, during which a State Department official contradicted the White House’s claim about the video.
The move is unusual, because the transcripts of most background briefings are not released — especially if they involve a direct disagreement between the department and the White House.
In January 2010, President Obama addressed the nation with an update on the security review of the attempted terrorist attack and outlined the reforms and corrective actions he ordered. The President said, "I have repeatedly made it clear -- in public with the American people, and in private with my national security team -- that I will hold my staff, our agencies and the people in them accountable when they fail to perform their responsibilities at the highest levels ... Moreover, I am less interested in passing out blame than I am in learning from and correcting these mistakes to make us safer. For ultimately, the buck stops with me. As President, I have a solemn responsibility to protect our nation and our people. And when the system fails, it is my responsibility."

"Fox News Extensive Report On The Benghazi Cover-Up By The Obama Administration"
U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice, in her first public comments on Libya since her controversial account days after the attack, blamed intelligence community talking points for the faulty narrative.
The light-on-details explanation Monday came as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took responsibility for any security failures leading up to the consulate attack last month.
But with the accounts coming as both presidential candidates head into a debate Tuesday night that will focus in part on foreign policy, neither appeared to settle mounting questions on the Hill about how the administration got the story so wrong. ...................
